Yeah, for how simple the mechanics are, that last boss fight was pretty good. Lots of misdirection with the reoccurring shadows, kids and blood markings that make you look away from the actual boss.
I love it more than modern horror games. Anyone can throw in a jump scare but to create an atmosphere that is just really nerve wrecking and gets to your head is hard.

There is a secret ending, which totally changes the outcome of this gamr, snf I think you can find it on your own (I also can't specifically remember how to do it anyway tbh :/) Another thing about this is that there is a small difference if your go left first, at the "intersection" in the church. Nothing big, but it freaked me out like heck. But most importantly, why I think this is so neccisary to play through a second time to get that secret ending, is also because this is NOT a part of the final game. This is it's own experiance. ANOTHER thing of note, is that if you play through the first game again (or just watch it) you will notice in the notes around the map that Amy wasn't a child. She had younger twin brothers. It's pretty clear who those purple twins make a direct tie to the first game, especially considering that fact that, of course they ended up in an orphanage! Their parents were killed, there sister went missing. Although I do wonder if they *brought* something with them?

The first time he did it because it implied that kids had been raped by the previous staff, they had finally fully staffed the church after some incident involving children and soon the priest himself would be rotated out and replaced so then no one would know about whatever happened to the kids. Separate incident involving kids cause things quickly went to hell after the witch lady was brought in. I have no idea why he kept doing it afterward.
True :/ But even then I'd love to see another episode like "Crendor's Picks" or even more of the one-offs or demos. If the game they play (Like "Faith") is really good then that's awesome, but even when the game is pretty shit the squad still makes it a great time lol
