FIX YOUR FUEL PUMP ISSUE ASAP!!! If your pump drops in voltage at high rpms or under load there goes your motor along with it. Car will lean out and detonate. Run a wire from the battery to the fuel pump with a relay in between to keep a constant 12v . Thumbs up so they see this and don't hurt the motor beating on it.
PatioPerformance Crew my thoughts exactly . Voltage drop is not something to ignore. Add some new grounds from engine to body and body to battery. Then recheck if still loosing voltage suspect belt slip or alternator failure
Does anyone know what fuel pump he's running? Should at least be a walbro 400, I would be pretty concerned though seeing how he's running a cheap ebay turbo. Fuel pumps are never something you want to cheap out on, and definitely hardwire it as others have said as well.
Alot of people dont realize how insane this is, sure the factory hellcat makes over 700, but thats not a fwd 4 banger... im a huge v8 fan but this is awesome.
+mr slowbike and it weighs like 2300lbs or something like that! This car has to be stupid fast. He took down some seriously fast cars in an earlier video (newer GT500, Hellcat, and modded CTS-V).
mr slowbike fuck a hellcat you can't even compare the two cars. This car will annihilate a hellcat... this car makes the same power as a hellcat 707bhp = about 648whp
nice work! I grew up racing muscle cars in the 80s. no turbos, no ebay. we had Buicks, Monte carlos, chargers and mustangs and firebirds. Street racing was light to light quarter miles. I had a 2 car garage that turned into AutoWorks. fun times back then. you are a younger version of me, we'd get along good. As I grew up, I got into Harleys and opened Aspen Custom Cycle. That lasted 15 years. I had a 92 hp 1975 shovelhead in the 90s before American chopper. Custom bikes were fun! Now it's your turn! turbos and ricer doesn't matter, you're building fast cars in your garage! Don't worry about the haters, you've out done them all. Be safe! and thanks for the videos!
VeeDees yes ofcourse. But in my experience from the cars I've driven boost by gear has made the car slower and not as aggressive as I would like. But that's just my opinion and what I like... I can decently see your point of view 👍🏼
eel1331 Just keep tweaking on the tune until you are on the edge of traction, or even a little over it. light peddling would catch it back without too much lifting.
between that and the fuel pump issues i would NOT want to ever be in these cars. Don't get me wrong, I love watching them, but some of the cut corners are sketchy af.
Definitely going to be using PFI Speed when I get my build tuned. These guys just seem super chill and they obviously do great work. About an hour and thirty minute drive but it seems well worth it. .28hp per lb to the wheels sounds *insanely* fast. If you subtract at least 10% for the drivetrain loses the Hellcat is 636hp to the wheels. Take 636/4493, which is the curb weight it has, and you get .14hp per lb to the wheels. That literally means this car is 2x as fast as a hellcat if it weighs 2300lbs curb weight.
Good Job Guys. I have been watching your channel for the last couple months and been carefully watching this particular build. i wasn't sure at first if i was going to like this channel as i am a V8 guy now... but the passion and attention you put into your projects for your age is something that is rare. You sir, are a true enthusiast and will only grow. i have to say... it was your theme song and intro video that got me interested. subed and recommended *****
Nice job on that manifold! You picked up about 75whp on the 15psi setting. That's impressive! I have never been into Hondas or imports at all, but that thing is one MEAN ride. You're pushing about 725hp at the crank (at the 608whp setting) in a car that weighs like 2300lbs. I bet that thing is an absolute rocket on the highway.
Run a relay from the battery to the fuel pump. That way you will always get the 12v of power needed for your pump and you will never have another drop in voltage. Installed one on my eg works great 👍🏼
Boostedboiz 10sec challenge. Take it to the track and run under 11sec with the hatch. Should be a walk in the park with that amount of power. Do it 💪🏼😎
Its worth it! Price to power & power to weight is GREAT FUN :) ......(eg civic's are light, ek civic's are almost as light, But can be pretty cars. So go EG-civic for track inspired, And EK-civic for show/track inspired) hope this helps. Do lots of research there is loads everywhere, And the honda community has really good people.
Oh and by the way im owner of a 1993 eg Hatch with d16z6 vtec and CX-racing turbo kit, And is tuned on Neptune etc etc ugly duck sleeper look on outside, But she scoot lol, Im also building another block in the kitchen/laundry area of the house (wife dont mind) its a Vitara set up like charlies wago, But im using Manly rods and king bearings Not Eagle rods and ACL bearings. I should put down about 350-400 comfortable ( Not shooting for the moon) its going to be a really fun car
Hey guys, you guys make great videos, I like what you guys do with all this projects, hope to see videos of the hatch on the streets pretty soon. greetings from Los Angeles
Changing the game. Literally. Awesome job guys. I'm selling my truck to get a Civic I've been wanting one for a long ass time. Looking at a 96 ex sedan with a d16y8
Check out autopower, they have a bolt in cage. Would love to see a video of you putting it in! They have different styles also depending on what you want.
Will Lee Well they're doing different things. Haggard Garage and Ricer Miata are about drifting in the other hand boostedboiz are about street racing. The difference is boostedboiz know how a car works and tune it with all the proper parts while they own a civic that makes 650whp. In the other hand Triggered-BOI and his crew are doing whatever the fuck comes to their head by throwing parts on their cars without having the knowledge of how exactly they work. I don't see Ricer Miata so I can't say much. I saw he bought a clean 1 series while Haggard still making their cars junk.
Project _ R oh okay i was like wow these honda engines makes alot of power. Maybe o tryed to boost stock one? i bought tig/mig i want to try learn some welding and a manifold would be really good product.
Hey man I notice you are running your stock intake manifold and throttle body. Do you have any plans on swapping the stock for a Skunk2 Ultra series or custome made manifold w bigger throttle body ?!?
Dr. Dro That car is sick but no way they would even consider him. No cage, no bucket seats or harness. He really needs a cage because car is a monster.
Talon4x4 he needs to rev out his car to make peak power. He would only hang in there near his red line then every gear change the Supra would pull away by having a more linear power bang. Not mention it only makes 600 in 4th, from a standard 40 roll in 2nd the Supra would but 3-5 of the gate and continue to pull in 3rd
Lol Tommyfyeah aka slick top tommy said " how many times can you watch someone blow up a honda" ....apparently over and over again, with a smile on my face :)
You guys are my new favourite 'show', topping roadkill haha! How much do you reckon the civic hatch cost yous? And if you did it again, how cheap could you keep it for 500+ bhp?
FIX YOUR FUEL PUMP ISSUE ASAP!!! If your pump drops in voltage at high rpms or under load there goes your motor along with it. Car will lean out and detonate. PatioPerformance Crew my thoughts exactly . Voltage drop is not something to ignore. Add some new grounds from engine to body and body to battery. Then recheck if still loosing voltage suspect belt slip or alternator failure
this
PatioPerformance Crew true I heard adding more grounds on circuits could help too
Does anyone know what fuel pump he's running? Should at least be a walbro 400, I would be pretty concerned though seeing how he's running a cheap ebay turbo. Fuel pumps are never something you want to cheap out on, and definitely hardwire it as others have said as well.
I have a wire straight to the pump relay, Its got protection if the ecu sees it leaning out
Alot of people dont realize how insane this is, sure the factory hellcat makes over 700, but thats not a fwd 4 banger... im a huge v8 fan but this is awesome.
This car will annihilate a hellcat... this car makes the same power as a hellcat 707bhp = about 648whp
mr slowbike And a Hellcat weighs almost 2000 more pounds then a civic.
This EK will smoke the fuck out of a Hellcat, with ease. The Hatch could even give the Hellcat a head start and still win.
Not impressive any teen with a garage and some knowledge can pull this off. More embarrassing is the hellcat.
nice work! I grew up racing muscle cars in the 80s. no turbos, no ebay. we had Buicks, Monte carlos, chargers and mustangs and firebirds. Street racing was light to light quarter miles. Kyle, you should feel proud about that manifold. Clearly some quality work that looks good and works well. Congratulations and keep being awesome.
The boost by gear is so bad ass. And the hatch looks so nice with the slicks on again and front bumper im lovin it
eel1331 never really been a fan of it. Always preferred to control the car with my right foot and have all the power at my disposal
PatioPerformance Crew I get what you're saying but it is also cool to optimize it so you can just mash the pedal and bang gears and not spin at all
VeeDees yes ofcourse. But in my experience from the cars I've driven boost by gear has made the car slower and not as aggressive as I would like. But that's just my opinion and what I like... I can decently see your point of view 👍🏼
eel1331
Just keep tweaking on the tune until you are on the edge of traction, or even a little over it.
light peddling would catch it back without too much lifting.
MrTheHillfolk yes ! That's the way to set up boost by gear but road conditions also have a lot to do with it
dude with that much power in a light ass hatch cage that thing
harry hodgson He should do ASAP
between that and the fuel pump issues i would NOT want to ever be in these cars. Don't get me wrong, I love watching them, but some of the cut corners are sketchy af.
harry hodgson Yeah, he needs to cage it asap
Patient Bull pussy
I am a giant pussy
Love getting into bed to watch youtube and wind down for the night then all the sudden... oh boostedboiz new video? LETS GOOOOOO
Saaame!
Dayrack fuck yes
BRO BOOSTED BOIZ FOR PREZ AM I RIGHT MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BET THEY EVEN DO XANZZZZZZZZZ
Omg im so excited to see the hatch on the streets best of luck bro!!
Roasted HD oh god yes. Bring on Mexico!!
EYYYY A car-guy that plays Tanki Online :D
things to do to the car
1. air filter for the turbo
2. roll cage
3. strut bar and completely stiffen up the front
4. clean up the interior
Dormain Taylor don't need an airfilter
Definitely going to be using PFI Speed when I get my build tuned. These guys just seem super chill and they obviously do great work. Vtech kicked in too hard the gages popped out 😂😂 had to replay that a. Couple times. Gave me a good chuckle
Its impressive how your homemade headers work. I was expecting a leak, but u never fail to impress. Keep up the good work!
Finally a great video to watch. Cannot wait for some street races!
Good Job Guys. I have been watching your channel for the last couple months and been carefully watching this particular build. i wasn't sure at first if i was going to like this channel as i am a V8 guy now... but the passion and attention you put into your projects for your age is something that is rare. the guy at the dyno shop seems like a chill dude, work all day play in the evening. mad rep.
Yooooo. Always with the clutch late night uploads. 👌🏻👌🏻 big time fan. You guys have inspired me to start making videos again.
I'm a gm corvette guy but I give a big thumbs up to you and this civic great work glad it paid of for you
good to see the hatch back in action!
Like driving a 650hp go-kart. That car has to weigh next to nothing. I can't imagine how insanely fast it is now. Can't wait to see her run in Mexico
I can sleep peacefully knowing the hatch is all done and good 👍🤘😌
Nice job on that manifold! You picked up about 75whp on the 15psi setting. That's impressive! I have never been into Hondas or imports at all, but that thing is one MEAN ride. I was watching old street racing videos of the hatch the other day... can't wait for it to hit the streets of Tijuana again
That is insane. For a car that light making that much power is super car territory
Right around 3:30 of the dyno session, it looks like you have a bent rim or something. Wheel looks like it's shaking. But definitely good numbers!
I thought it was losing psi and about to pop because they were dead weighting it lol that was probably the cause tho
You guys inspired me to build a kickass car.. Proud of you guys..
Run a relay from the battery to the fuel pump. That way you will always get the 12v of power needed for your pump and you will never have another drop in voltage. Installed one on my eg works great 👍🏼
watching the wagon build and ur work on this made me sub. congrats on that kind of power from ur honda haha. i look forward to seeing it in action
My favorite line from your videos "it should work just fine" lmao
all your work paid off ....awesome work... respect ...bro
i love boostedboiz ..please please please keep video atleast 30 minutes
Boostedboiz 10sec challenge. Take it to the track and run under 11sec with the hatch. Should be a walk in the park with that amount of power. Do it 💪🏼😎
nice my dude imagine what this kid will be able to do in 20 years hes already ahead of the game
1.wisdom teeth out.. time to watch boostedboiz👍🏻
you know it making power when the sound breaks
Iv been thinking of getting a civic n boosting it. It seems like so much fun

Brispii do it but build a B series motor. Most reliable/cheapest. If you want to make big power go B over D and H
same I'm a vw guy but can't make these #'s in a vw
Phil Collin's Yes you can lol. A forged bottom end vr6 or a forged 20v 1.8t with a s475. My mk5 gti makes 430 on a gt3071 and a 2.0.
Hey guys, you guys make great videos, I like what you guys do with all this projects, hope to see videos of the hatch on the streets pretty soon. greetings from Los Angeles
It was cool seeing you at O'Reilly's off of college the other night in this thing. Keep up the great vids
So pumped and ready to see you smacking people again in the civic!!!
This build made a LOT more horsepower than I was expecting. Isn't that still on that no name Chinese turbo? I'm blown away.
I'm a hardcore mustang loving civic hating guy. But this build is absolutely amazing. Good job keep it up
Yeah I'm not a fan of Civic's, but this is awesome
HELL YEA! Was waiting for this video the whole day! this civic is road weapon! some people are about to cry in Mexico soon :D
" you boys ever been to Mexico 🇲🇽?!?!" - super troopers voice haha
can't sleep and boosted boiz just posted a vid, doesn't get better than that.
This is what I'm talking about !!! Great video boys
Damn it sounds sooo awesome. Wanna see it street race now!
That 3rd gear pull tho😳
Always love the vids guys keep up the great work 👌🏻
U need to get to the track and lay down some times
uzi 100% agree I went from street to track and I enjoy running a quicker time every pass then running from the cops 👌🏼
yeah, he needs a cage before he can go to the track tho
he got a welder in garage, maybe next few vids he gonna DIY a cage
ejump0 That might work if the guy inspecting it is cracked out and drunk. You can't just weld up a proper cage without knowing what you're doing.
Awesome. Can't wait for Mexico🇲🇽
Changing the game. Literally. Awesome job guys. I'm selling my truck to get a Civic I've been wanting one for a long ass time. Looking at a 96 ex sedan with a d16y8
I am 12000 into a build because of you guys lol see you on the streets of Loveland in a few months
I'm so fuckin happy to see the Hatch screaming again!
i was waiting for this video seen the post on ig and stood up waiting for it fyeaaa
damn that thing bucked hard on that first pull
I agree a roll cage is a good idea
it was interesting to see the difference in motor movement under acceleration between your car and the previous one.
Catch you in Mexico with the NWP boys on a Sunday night. That's awesome
i wish my Evo had this power, awesome civic you have buddy🤘👍
You guys got a good tuner! Seems like a chill guy, hard to find where I live
103/800 something all go to mrslowbike congrats man you really stirred up some haters that's awesome
Godamn bro nice power output to the front wheels ! You should wire tuck it soon!
Check out autopower, they have a bolt in cage. Would love to see a video of you putting it in! They have different styles also depending on what you want.
You really need a cage
Safariboy why not get official racing tires too. Don't be a pussy
Could totally help traction! and save your life i guess there's that too..
This is better than ricer Miata and haggard garage
Will Lee drifting is a joke
Will Lee Well they're doing different things. Haggard Garage and Ricer Miata are about drifting in the other hand boostedboiz are about street racing. The difference is boostedboiz know how a car works and tune it with all the proper parts while they own a civic that makes 650whp. I don't see Ricer Miata so I can't say much. I saw he bought a clean 1 series while Haggard still making their cars junk.
Horny Bob and he bought a clean ass ls1 e36
They are all cool I watch all three of them
Well actually, ricer miata does a bit of both. He's raced a few people in his 1 series, like some boosted AWD 4G63s
Awesome numbers for a little hatch
congratz guy! insane build
congrats on the big numbers!
love that car😍😍😍 Booted Boiz do great work👍👍👍👍💣🔥😎
remember F1 was pushing 1500hp from a 1.6L back in the 80's
Mr Bob that's what I'm talking about why doesn't anyone try to build F1 style
Branden Russell they had a little bit more money
The shape of that dyno graph is crazy peaky lol
but wait dude are you getting this power from stock internals? like srtock pistons and shit?
Airidas Labanauskas no it's a build Engine. All Internals are forced.
Project _ R oh okay i was like wow these honda engines makes alot of power. Maybe o tryed to boost stock one? i bought tig/mig i want to try learn some welding and a manifold would be really good product.
Airidas Labanauskas boost a stock one a kaboom, rebuilt is a must.
Katsu LA my bmw 1.8is holds 0.5bar on stocks but 0.5 is literaly nothing :/
hell no. lmao
Legend says that if you're this early you get a response.
Nope.
sure
You win this round, Justin Kraft and BoostedBoiz!
Justin Kraft lmao i was just thinking that n looked in the comments
802 Garage Just subbed, from the 802 myself, nice gsx.
Nice work on the Hatch brotha. Have you weighed it recently? Curious to what its dry weight might be. Beastmode
Hey man I notice you are running your stock intake manifold and throttle body. Do you have any plans on swapping the stock for a Skunk2 Ultra series or custome made manifold w bigger throttle body ?!?
she's about to sweep the streets God Damn
Can't wait for the hatch in Mexico
Love how the gauges fall off during the pull haha
Bro wtf with that much power u should've went to tx2k
Dr. Dro That car is sick but no way they would even consider him. No cage, no bucket seats or harness. He really needs a cage because car is a monster.
Dr. Dro I love the car but an 800hp Supra would put it to shame lol
Considering the Honda weighs around 1000lbs less than the Supra it would be a damn close race.
Talon4x4 this car would be a close race with a Heads/cam c6z Vette
This is awesome. Well done.
about to go to bed
*boosted boiz uploaded a new video*
ok nvm gotta watch it
Soo ready for races in the hatch.
Hell yeah nice to see the hatch going again! You still running stock internals?
lol gotta love the upload time
crazy dude, just got a 98 honda for $350 im gonna use for daily. Maybe when i finish my 79 c10 project i will start a honda project :D!
this is why I subscribed . not disappointed
Honda life man ! Little motors take a beating
before k series was a thing
the h22 ran the block back in the 90s
Good job on that manifold guys.
love the vid as always keep up the great work
Boost by gear for the win !
Go out for some races already!!! That hatch is badass
cars looking great dude
sheeeeet.. thats sick!! it doesnt have even 1 tonne and 600 hp is soo much for that tiny civic :DD
Lol Tommyfyeah aka slick top tommy said " how many times can you watch someone blow up a honda" ....apparently over and over again, with a smile on my face :)
Nick Nunez blown boiz are hacks that are even worst then b is for build
Yesssss been waiting for this!🔥🔥🔥
You guys are my new favourite 'show', topping roadkill haha! How much do you reckon the civic hatch cost yous? And if you did it again, how cheap could you keep it for 500+ bhp?
Please tell me that your not still running standard civic brakes on that 648WHP monster!!!
Plus thats at Colorado altitude. I got back from Colorado today and car felt way slower
This car is a gtr killer
Not a Honda fan, but nice numbers! Props! Bet when it hooks, it books!
