- I looked at some of the biggest misplays common in Tower Defense Simulator, that the majority of the player-base has probably felt at some point. This includes big mistakes when placing towers, missed opportunities to get old event towers like Commando or Slasher, and even the rarest crate which was ultimately a massive waste....

the first golden crate i got was pryo and it was back in late 2019 so it was the worst one to get

Funnily enough I got my first golden crate yesterday too, but I got golden cowboy!
The one that joins late is so relatable. I think they might add a "start" button where the game starts if everyone pressed the button to immediately start the countdown of the game.
literally all the devs need to do is add and intermission lobby for special maps/ event/ hardcore. its so simple and they haven't done it.

@@pedros919 the countdown will start for a longer duration (probably like 35 seconds) if not all pressed the start button. (If all of them pressed it, it will automatically starts in 5 seconds.)

The first golden crate I got was pyro, which used to be bad but now I use it all the time in fallen and hardcore, also I regret not grinding further in some of the events I played because I missed out on a ton of cool skins, I even missed out on the entire eclipse event because I had no idea it even happened until after it ended

I played when TDS Came out because i loved tower defense games. I never did any events because i never like playing with people. Only playing solo. I wasnt very good so i never tried. I regret everything lol
Well pyromancer as of right now is an A tier tower (caugh caugh defense burning carries it)
But golden pyromancer is S tier and is the 2nd most versatile tower in game (right below commander)
U get cheap hd,ok dmg and aoe all for 800$ and upgrading him will just boost those stats and add defense burning which is the reason why its so versatile

I got gold pyro for my golden crate and I thought it was trash but turns out gold pyro is amazingly strong
Since the buff he got, I would say he is the best golden tower with cowboy because minigunner deals normally less damage in the hole match, and he's useless when you have engineer and accel

i've been playing tds ever since it came out and i've gotten every single event tower other then slasher, archer (almost got tho), and gladiator
I used to have a platinum crate and I wanted to save for a golden to open them both at once. When I almost got a golden crate, my platinum crate got deleted :(
Restarting when you did a mistake on a specific step or strat doesnt let you improve throughout the game, instead you stuck with it and do a different step and try to do alternate but similar steps to the mistake you did, this will give you experience and skills to further progress yourself on the game.
there is always another method which is in front of you.

Frost invasion: I like didn't even have minigunner and 1 million health is just overkill
Solar eclipse: i couldn't even beat night 1 like why so little time
Duckery doomed: i literally enemies from all directions that seems hard
Christmas: its like exactly the same as the ducking doom so i failed
Halloween 2023: I managed to beat act 1 but i already know im screwed and will once again lose 😢, 500k hp Seems a bit much and i hate the modifier and the witches just suck
Pyromancer is very good also 1 emote is useful to glitch in the map
My biggest flexes on roblox (which i dont play anymore) is that i have only unboxed 1 gold crate and got minigunner and that i have beat Pizza party 5 times and that I beat lost souls first try with no strat
I feel like im a mistake considering i made almost every mistake here

I never grinded for the Platinum Crate I was lazy. I got nothing to regret. Worst mistake in my opinion is missing on events. Some Towers may never come back and you didn't want to grind for it. Now you regret your choices (halloween 2020)

gcrook dps makes it mediocre at best and even if you add the guards there are still towers who fulfill its role much better, and gmini there are other secondary dps towers who will do much better than gmini, who's use heavily downgrades the more players there are as its spamability is one of the only good things it has against the other strong dps towers.
@@spino650 g crook has 72 dps. G mini is useful for solo on anything other then hc. G pyro on the other hand bring's almost nothing to the table you have other choice's for hc the defense melting isnt that useful and it has meh dps+short range. G crook has 72 dps is useful for Early-mid game and can help make round's go faster+ great way to kill fallen's has insane cost efficieny and body guard's add on like 20 dps and can stack only thing is the placement limit. G scout and g soldier are worse i agree though in most scenario's of normal gameplay but strat's? Way more useful (i mean g scout g soldier is way worse then g pyro) g pyro is 4-5 best g tower.

You forgot one more mistake: uneven placement. A lot of people(for some reason in 2023’s lunar overture) place everything at the front but leave nothing at the back.
This works in the short term, but something strong enough to breach the fronts defense can cost you the game. Reinforce the back.
Idea: you can fuse creates to make better ones (5 normal creates for a premium )

honestly, 3 premium crates for a deluxe, and no way to make a premium crate. Deluxe costs x3 of a premium crate anyway
i can relate to the platinum crate, i even had most golden skins but i still went to get the platinum skins then its gone XD

The first mistake they made was changing the mini gunner to not man handle two mini-guns with I hand each.

My biggest mistake was playing the game for the first time back before the Area 51 event, thinking it was boring, and then not coming back until a few weeks after the christmas 2019 event……. nice
Making the Walter White skin a Deluxe crate exclusive is one of the biggest mistakes they ever made.
Agree + now you can get only one delux creat in entire game when the chances will be lower then chances of getting bobux

Being late and missing out on towers, battlepasses, skins is so annoying.
I missed out the tf2 engineer skin, missed out solar eclipse accelerator I would have gotten if I actually did grind gems back then, missed out like every single event tower except 3 (sledger, jester, necromancer) and like... This is just pain. Would have gotten executioner but never got good teammates, bought every single basic skin when I was starting, keep in mind that was FROST INVASION.
I got my first gold skin and i got g mini like SHEASHHHH but i have to grine over a year bc i have bad internet 🙂. 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

All my work for platinum crates just for them to be removed. Man I miss teaming with people to beat 5 maps on all modes for platinum crates.
My mistake was quitting after the Christmas update. I could’ve got elf base.
The biggest mistake in all of tds is probably accidentally placing your tower near the base thinking you placed it at the entrance💀

Play Critical Tower Defense! Comes with Balanced Towers, Perks, Cool Upgrade, Sell and Place Animations, Balanced Gamemodes, Daily Quest/Bounties System and Two Secret Towers. There are probably more cool things about Critical Tower Defense but you should play it anyways

Tbh, tds has now TOOO GOTDAMN A LOT OF bugs, and you don't even wanna play it because of this. And new maps....uh.... Abandoned city is only good rn, other maps are just peace a fucking crap of those 4 new maps... Tds is dieing as fast, as bullet which is going g to my head because of it
I only got plqtinum crook boss and when i came back to see the live event aka THE WORST LIVE EVENT it got removed anf also the archer was 1 coin bruh like they reverted it but i already had archer so i dknt know why i could buy it still
Tips for people who want to get a golden skin they want:
#1 instead of buying the towers, buy the tower that you want to have the golden skin like golden miniguner buy that first and then buy the golden crate. You will have a 50/50 to get the golden scout or the golden miniguner.
the biggest mistake i made is quitting so many times, i quit for a total of 2 years and if i didnt, i would most likely be a level 800+ today because i was a level 200 back in 2021. i missed gladiator, slasher, sledger, executioner (i bought it) and elf camp.
My friend made a HUGE mistake where he bought a premium crate JUST BEFORE THE GLADIATOR GAMEPASS CAME OUT.

I spent a lot of time in tds and was bout to quit cuz It was just worthless. Want to beat a game mode with strat? You need accel g scout g pyro glad or other things u don’t normally have. So I got my 1st g crate and if it was a trash tower I would’ve quit but I got g mini so now I’m happy with my life. Also not worth spending 1 dollar on a gamepass that doesn’t let you put music you want cuz it’s copyrighted:/

Tell your mistakes in the replies but my biggest mistake i got 2 so in tds i was an og i was there from day 1 so my 2 mistakes are when the glad event was a thing i did not do it bc i did not like the map and did not understand it was an event that would be my biggest regret in this game and my second mistake was after the glad event i quit the game and came back on Halloween 2019 or 2020 idk the one with loud music and not only did i miss out on the rare events and event towers that happened when i quit i also did not do the hallween event that was going on when i came back and did not open the skins crates either 💀💀💀💀💀💀

Below should put more event towers on sale for things like black friday, But to balance it maybe only for one or two days
