Check out Halestorm's slave to the grind cover from way back if you haven't yet. I wasn't sold on them until I heard that cover album, every song is a classic and the different styles really show off the band's/her range and talent.

With the beatings and killings of young women recently there is a powerful insurgence rising all around the world. Many of us are appalled and I have seen awful things done to women in the Middle East to women of all ages and from all countries including women from here. Wow. Avatar is my favourite band due the sound, the lyrics, the incredible talent, that underpinning everything is an attitude that i admire .. and now this incredibly strong and relevant message is the one the world needs. This is not a song just made to be relevant, i absolutely know 100% that this song is truly an expression of what was felt right at the core when it was written. This is from the heart.

This is why UA-cam is important, much like how old MTV was. This song would sound amazing on the radio, but I feel it would lose a part of the message without the images.
I listened to it in the background and loved it. Clicked replay and watched it, I had a different reaction and felt I understood the message better.
