- This was a very good experience of using a night sleeping train to travel from Georgia to Armenia. No wasted time in travel (because I was sleeping during the night anyway), and saved costs on accomodation for 1 night too. What can be better!? 🙂 In this video I also show how to use the train’s facilities, fold/unfold the bunks etc.
I'm impressed, nice train👍
Armenia has a reputation for beautiful maintaining its trains, even thought the Soviet times. I remember Armenian train carts being the cleanest and the safest. Thank you for such a beautiful video, 👏
Thank you for the nice comment!

Hello planing to travel Armenia to Georgia and back. Can pls tell me the train time and ticket please. And are there train daily or on deleted days only
I think it was daily, but I forgot already the time and price. But I’m pretty sure I was mentioning that somewhere on my Tbilisi or Tbilisi-Erevan video.
What do you need to provide at the border or before boarding the train?
Ticket, Passport, visa (If you need one), PCR test or vaccination certificate.
Do you think it is safe If go SOlo Traveling... seems the Station was so quiet and empty.... I have planning to visit there on next month - March 2022
In my observation the vast majority of the world is a lot safer than any big European or American city. Both for solo traveling (which I’m doing) and groups. If you are not afraid in London or Paris to go solo, I don’t think there is any reason to be afraid there. But it depends on your own behaviour a lot, of course.
@@artis_guru I could not agree more with you. However, I think the question here is more about opportunistic thieves and criminals who want to take advantage of foreigners. Being a foreigner in a place where you do not know the neighborhoods and the language has its eerie feeling especially at night.
Yes, they can steal a lot opportunistically in the former Soviet Union countries, I agree. But the risk of robbery or other violent crimes is much higher in any of the major US or European cities, in my opinion. So it’s actually very simple: just don’t leave your things unattended.
How much was the ticket?
Can’t remember, but I think it was somewhere in the neighbourhood of €20
@@artis_guru Thanks for the reply! Actually it's very cheap as you are getting lodging and travel together.
@@artis_guru I am also from Latvia. I plan to travel to Tbilisi in November this year, take the train to Yerevan and return to Riga. I wonder how it went for you and whether you returned to Tbilisi or headed straight home from Yerevan!
Hey, that’s so cool!
Nemaz ne tik bieži sanāk satikt latviešus psaulē! 🙂 Es satiku dažus Gruzijā, starp citu. Pajokojos par to savā Kuraisi video.
I continued to Europe from Yerevan back then. See my Etchmiadzin video for the details. Have a great trip to Caucasus!
Exactly! 👍
Zugdidi to Tbilisi GEORGIA ?
I guess it’s only by bus, but I’m not sure. Anyone else knows?
