I’m not sure where i ended up finding the single Winter Wonderland/Reason for the Season on vinyl but i have it, pretty cool find. Never seen the cassette so that was cool to see you have that.
I appreciate you sharing this with me. I was a headbanger back in the day. I went to a Bible camp once in my teen years and my counselor gave me his copy of to hell with the devil. I’ve always appreciated that kind gesture from him and know it was one of the things along my journey that guided me to Christ. I will have to check out some of these albums. Thanks again for taking the time to share.
the video is did not know i needed to see!! Stryper is the only band that got better as they aged. Their new albums are amazing. The best Stryper album is whichever album i am listening to at the time. 😂
Way back in 80's, I had the 12" single of Calling On You/The Rock That Makes Me Roll on yellow vinyl. I regret parting with my vinyl collection 20+ years ago.
From what I understand, the translucent vinyl is what is called "virgin vinyl" because it's not recycled and is more pure. The thicker stuff that's not translucent is recycled and it has impurities that cause pops and crackles.
I have a big Stryper and Michael Sweet collection as well. I bought the TEN Ultimate Fan Bundle back in 2019. I didn't have a problem with Middle Finger Messiah and Against the Law. I find these days many people figuratively stick their middle finger at God. Paul writes something to the effect that the cross is a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Greeks/Gentiles. ATL has some Christian themes but not as up front like not getting involved with questionable women and the sanctity of marriage with Two Bodies, One Mind. I do wonder about the title of GDE and that's a good album as well. I think of the newer material Fallen, NMHTP and ETDB are their best albums. I was not totally fussy on The Final Battle but it has grown on me since it was released. I do buy the occasional non Christian album but 85% is directly Christian. I have Dream Theater, MARS (the band Rob Rock was in before he became a Christian), MASS and the projects Michael Sweet did with other musicians. I'm very selective with mainstream music. Awesome collection!
First I'm agree with you God First just simple like that. I congratulate you for no compromising your values, second why did you don't add God Damn Evil❓️
@@christianrockmusiccollective Well, I have an open mind....there has been beautiful music for 800 years. It doesn't matter what religion they are, or what country they are from, music is something to appreciate and bring people together, not divide. Its a beautiful thing.

I won’t own that album.
For the title?
@@frankrosa5796 correct.
By only listening to Christian music, you are missing out on a world of wonderful music....your prejudice is your loss.
Nah. I’m fine. God first. I do what he tells me to do. I am missing nothing.
@@christianrockmusiccollective Ask any musicologist, who knows alot more about music than you do.
@@DS-hs3qp I will respect your personal convictions.
