I would say that Riot's music team is actually composed my the best video game artists. I really love the art part of lol. Would be better to have a good balance team next to that :)
I am a self taught player too, all of my covers are played by ear, and I don't have that many years of practice behind me as well.. This cover took me like an hour or two to learn, I'm not sure. You can definitely be a self taught player, but knowing how to read sheets and position your hand properly is something really important, that I never spent time on, so I would suggest you to start with that. Go check out "danthecomposer" UA-cam channel. He is like my guru on piano. You will learn alot from his water piano philosophy. If I had practiced that every day, I probably would have been twice as good by now. :)
