I played this game because my parents didnt allow me to play GTA. It was quite fun. You know, i believe these are among the GTA clones made for people who were in a situation like me.
ah yes, the "we have GTA at home" version
Among 👀
@@anon7596 at least they managed to make it more fun than modern gta online
Same here lmaooo
I remember when I wasn't allowed to play gta
My favorite part of this game was when Vin Diesel said, “It’s Dieselin’ time.” And diesels on everyone.
Why does that sound like a urination euphemism
@@andreasottohansen7338 when your Diesel is leaking get´s a whole new meaning
If they really wanted to upset IGN, Gamespot they would have made a game with Paul Walker.
@@andreasottohansen7338 it's not, In Spain (where the game's supposed to be based on) diesel cars are pretty common, so you just have to get a diesel car to get that line.
I bet it’s the most dieselist diesel
I really loved Vin Diesel's catch phrase of "I wanna be a wheel boy" it really reminded me of my childhood 😢
Micheal Bay is jealous he wants this many explosions in every movie.
Wait this where Vin Diesels Gmod model came from?! I always wondered where it came from
I used to play this with the boys in 5th grade, good times lol
So basically fast and the furious the video game.
Anyone realize the plates on the car are reference to mortal Kombat
I loved this game. I played with my brother.
Don't speak of the devil of Republic Heros
Not bad graphics for its time
A few years ago, I ended up working retail with one of the developers of this game. He didn’t believe me when I told him I had played the game before. He especially didn’t believe me when I told him I loved it
Seems like quite a call from grace with the due respect from game dev to retail work but work is work & I'm sure they had there reasons
@@someguynamedmike4766 game dev isn't a stable industry as you're led to believe, very predatory since it's relatively young. it's not uncommon to see devs take up other jobs to provide for themselves or family
@@lifelightv2 That's a real shame as I'm sure it takes a lot of work to get there only for someone to take that role you've worked for away from you just like that
@@someguynamedmike4766 I mean, EA notoriously lays off people every time they finish making a game.
Congratulations on the release of your game! You're fired!
That's soo funny lmfao
I have great memories of the game, though probably hasn’t aged well lol
Aged better than the identical looking fast and furious crossroads
Dude I absolutely loved this game and it was way before Vin became super popular it was so much fun
I remember as a kid I played the demo for this probably a dozen times. This and Just Cause 2 had amazing demos that were so fun to play.
You woulda made a good friend back then cuz both of those games were my top game
Yeah the gave you a window of time to do all the things the game offered. It was always a good time.
Mann, you just brought me back to the 30 min demo for Just Cause 2 or however long it was and being able to do everything u wanted lol, then just restarting the game and doing everything else. Good times.
@@kamikaze01239 Wasn't you limit to a certain area of the map?
VENGA VENGA VENGA
I never seen this video game before, but seeing it all I could think about it is “Family, Family, Family, Family, and Family.”
does anyone else only remember
the front cover of this game and not the actual gameplay
Wheelman: A character very skilled in the story
Kevduit: Aiming for every enemy with a comment with their death
I lowkey enjoyed this game as a kid. Something about the burnout-like driving destruction that made me like it
With the driver flying out of their car during takedown remind me of flatout
Tbf i don't remember i ever dislike video games when i was a kid, as long it's moving and i can get used to the gameplay, i was always in for the ride.
I remember enjoyed the hell out of games like Made Man, Conflict Denied Ops, Charlotte's Web, and Reservoir Dogs the game lol.
Now i realized how actually bad those games are....
Ah child innocence..
Me too
Whats funny is the fact that even all these years later this game actually aged alot better than the newest Vin Diesel game Fast and Furious Crossroads did!🤣😂
He's no little boy, he's a wheelman.
Believe me he is
Vin Diesel.
No i do not remember wheelman kevduit
man this game gives me Driver 3 vibes. I never had internet back in the day. so I never knew the controversy around it. it was just a fun game of hilarious bugs. one of my fave bad games to play.
I loved this shit way too much as a kid. Literally a GTA alternative with Burnout driving elements. It was a fun time!
I remember getting this game and taking it back 😂😂
lol i did the exact same thing, the gameshop near me had a 48hour return policy so i finished the game in a day and returned it the next morning.
Why?
The games all about family and defying the laws of physics
BRUH I remember playing this on the 360 lmao damn what a time to be alive 😂🤦🏾♂️
I like thinking that Diesel’s inner monologue every time he jumps off his moving car onto someone else’s to steal it is just “Hippity hoppity get out my property”
That "Cyclone" mechanic is actually a genius idea for many driving/shooting games.
I wonder why more games haven't produced clones of this mechanic?
why does this actually look like so much fun!
Because back then games were made for fun.
There are heroes like Superman, Batman, Spider-man.
And then there's the Wheelman.
He was Bitten by a radio active wheel
The chronicles of Riddick games were fantastic they definitely deserved more love
Agreed, Kevduit should do a video on them me thinks
Yep, I loved this game. I pre-ordered it. Walked into GameStop, asked for it, dude says, "Oh, you're the only one who pre-ordered this game." I'm like, "Cool!" Little did I realize, I was probably the only one who BOUGHT the game at my GameStop >_> Still, loved this game.
You should play the ps2 spy hunter game where you play as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
No way y’all still remember this game
Not only i remember, i have it.
Vin Diesel was born for movies involving automobiles. He's gonna have to change his last name from Diesel to Charge because of electric cars.
Vin Lithium
I thought this was an average or ok game but if it was a fast and furious game it would easily be the best. Glad to see you consistently give light to games that aren't often talked about or mentioned.
I played this waaaay too much as a kid, was my first GTA clone, got it on launch, I don't remember the story at all just jumping from car to car and getting in to cop chases, the physics are probably super dated but felt great back in the day.
@Dula.D It is the origin.
GTA was rated M and I was like a kid so i did my research for a rated T version of GTA and this is what I found
Vin Weasel's Dealman
I remember I only had the demo of this on ps3 but nothing stopped me from playing it multiple times
ngl looks fun. Need a remaster
"Soon will the wheelman come to bring us sugar and tea and rum"
Am I weird for saying that I enjoyed this game
Yes
Let’s get Kev to one million subscribers by the end of the year
I used to play this game like hundred times on my old PC, it was on CD and I still have it in my CD collection.
i remember getting this as a gift, it was 2009 and my dad returned from a business trip from geneva and he suprised me with it. ( we lived in South Africa and those games never came here) i loved this game so deerly.
I absolutely loved this game, when i was 6-7 years old one of my relatives gave me a copy of Wheelman for PC. I was always stuck on a certain mission. i got angry and deleted the game fast forward to 2022 i completed this game. It was a one hell of an experience.
Still got this game in the archives and wet was underrated love that game
Kevduit is like that one time where you’re in bed and suddenly remember about Dantdm or episode 6 of Star Wars while scrolling through UA-cam as you lay in bed, constantly uncomfortable
This game was really good. I remember replaying at least 2-3 times, and I would never replay I game I didn't enjoy.
I still have this game for the PS3. I was so confused when my cousin handed me this. I thought it was fake the first time I even saw the case ngl
For those of you wondering, he had 4-5 more hours of this game to go
Brooo this game was so fun
YOU BETTER FUCKIN BELIEVE I REMEMBER WHEELMAN!
I remember when this game first came out … it looked how gta 5 looks today which was crazy for 360/ps3 graphics.
An underrated game that I don’t mind trying out.
"Mom! I want the new fast and furious game!"
"Now honey...we have the fast and furious game at home."
The game at home
Looks way better than the F&F Crossroads game tbh
i think only few people played this game, its was super fun and intense to play, i never played it without some wild 80's music in the background, it made things much more fun
this was and still is amazing game to play, gameplay is super fun
nah kev fr you make me realize the best part of my life was being born in primetime gamin era of 360,psp,ds,ps3. Like well never get that ever again xddd
If you look closely at the license plates most of them reference old midway games. The very first car we drive has a mortal kombat reference.
Hey, it's Vin Diesel driving a diesel playing Vin Diesel
I do, it was fun, especially the cinematics
My brother tried to convince me that Vin Diesel is a good actor 🤦♂️
He was, long ago. Seems like he just kinda gave up
@@ayanleman lol when was this?
If i ever met Vin Diesel i'd call him "Wheelman." "Youre the guy from Wheelman!"
man this made me so happy, this was a staple of my childhood going to blockbuster to rent this game. this was “GTA at home” and i damn sure loved it and the physics.
This is my favorite game growing up. Wasn’t allowed to get gta so had to improvise
To be honest, that looks pretty fun 😄
I remember playing this game as a child. Unfortunately, due to a bug, it was not possible to complete the first mission.
I couldn't finish the game because of a bug
5 year old me loved this game more than gta
GTA Barcelona, just like the drug capital of Spain.
If you haven't already, then you should definitely play the game: *John Woo's "Stranglehold"* on Xbox 360. It's absolutely a good follow up, especially in the spirit of this one.👌
Bro I loved that game lookin now they banned it
It was my very first Xbox 360, and it was awesome. I played it over and over until I got my hands on the call of duty franchise j
Its especially funny how this game released in 2009 and actually aged sooooo much better than Fast and Furious Crossroads did in 2020!😂🤣
Its amazing to think Demon Souls came out the same year lol. Such a weird time for gaming, especially when it comes to licensed games.
Just seeing that Midway games logo makes me nostalgic.
WHEELMAN? More like real men
I love hearing the really muffed up screams you've put each time you bullet time a civilian in reverse mode x}
My favourite is of course the Solid Snake death sound.
This is what I wish more people would do about the Wilhelm Scream meme: Putting subtly and not during a dramatic scene, un like in Game of Thrones' batlle aftermarth and during the attack of the city by the floating Nautile in the intro video of Baldur's Gate 3...
Remember renting this in blockbuster, I miss them times coming out with a handful of games snacks then over nighters completing them all
Hahahaha I thought barely anyone knew of this game. Always thought it tied in well with what Dom said to Letty in The Fast and the Furious, about going to Spain after that final Semi heist.
1:11 Heyyy, I didn’t know Midway made tie-in games. For those who aren’t Mortal Kombat fans, Midway either made or published the old Mortal Kombat games before Netherrealm took over for MK9/MKvDC-MK1.
This was one of the funniest things I have ever watched. Never stop doing what you do!
The game is the reason why I love Pontiac G8s lmao
vin
We're no strangers to love
You know the rules and so do I (do I)
A full commitment's what I'm thinking of
You wouldn't get this from any other guy
I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching, but you're too shy to say it (say it)
Inside, we both know what's been going on (going on)
We know the game and we're gonna play it
And if you ask me how I'm feeling
Don't tell me you're too blind to see
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
This game was fun while it lasted, it was the first "gta like" game I ever played It was also the first game where I witnessed a car capable of doing skateboard tricks😂😂😂😂
"My name is milo, I'm a wheelman", that shit stays free whenever my subconscious decides to bring it up 😂😂
I bought this game for the PS3 back in 2010 for 10 bucks... sold it the day after to a pawn shop. The map is total nonsense and the gameplay gets boring quick.
10/10. Really makes you feel like Din Viesel
I had this game at launch (still have it). Actually had a bit of fun, essentially a more broken gta with a carjack gimmick where you can jump onto another car while driving.
Anyone else unironicly wana play vin diesels weasel man
I once rented the game from block buster as a kid and on my first mission the car kept sinking into the road and was unplayable 🤦♂️🤣
lol the loading screens and menu music had me feeling all the nostalgia 🤣 hilarious commentary too!
everytime vin diesel ran all i could think of was “i’m fast as fuck boi! i’m still fast as fuck boi!”
My biggest take away from this video is that Kevduit is married.
I played the demo of this game repeatedly as a kid
This was a really good game.
Dont understand the hate behind it.
I had so much fun playing it.
No I’ve never heard of wheelman. But I’ve heard of (Tim Allen) Tim the tool man. “What time is it!?” Lol 😆
2:22 look at that subtle Mortal Kombat reference on the numberplate: "MRTL KM8T"
As a kid i had a choice. This game or Counter Strike source. Man luckly i picked css
You should play “the order 1886”, I’m sure you’d have fun with it
Wheelman was fun great game played beat more then once cuz I really enjoyed!!!
I remember playing the demo back in 2009
My dad download this game in his laptop for me when I was 5 now the game file is gone😢
I could watch Kev attack all the cop cars over and over and over again hhahaha. The first 10 minutes is a beautiful train wreck that was orchestrated by Vin Diesel weaselman.
Edit: Just noticed that all the cars license plates say something like, RMP 8GE- Rampage or GNT LET - Gauntlet XD hahah
