i just returned back to the US from Kenya ten days ago. my heart is still on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. i love the culture so much! Mungu anakupenda =)
Your comment amazes me because it is funny how you feel the need to point out the although you are different from them you still like them. You are trying to say that you are equal to them but your reasoning shows that you believe otherwise... But you are not to blame, research shows that this kind of thought is implicit in the majority of adults in the western world it's embedded in the our culture, I just thought that you should be aware of it. And I am done preaching for today. take care.
God bless my dad raised 11 grand with his church for water and lighting in a orphanage he Psystar workers only,as the are robbed daily. have many stories and photos from his time there, amazing
@disismsnubian - you realize this song is on an album by an American artist, right? You don't have to discard being American to embrace who you are...thats why idea of America is awesome.
@DisisMsnubian This isn't just reflecting the nature of "black people". This just shows to me the ability to unify ALL people, and realize how "on the same plain" we all truly are. It is not a problem to live by facts when you actually understand the facts. We are all equal: that is not simply faith. That is fact.
@DisisMsnubian I read your comment. I agree with you. But this is part of the cultural past Blacks here in the United States when we were slaves were made to forget. Most do not care about reconnecting with our last past.
@DisisMsnubian I agree completely, even a white lad from the UK such as myself appreciates this, its better than someone rapping about how much money he made selling drugs. A lot of black people really do sell themselves short from what I see in places around the world, since my country was responsible for damaging a lot of these cultures, I find myself honour bound to see them repaired.
@xxxjjay13 And the LORD shall bring you into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spoke to you, You shall see it no more again: and there you shall be sold to your enemies for slaves and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. Deuteronomy 28:68 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Luke 21:24

I feel like there’s not many sounds in the world that capture beauty the way that African choir music does. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
This style of singing always makes me emotional.
Me too.
Makes 2 of us
To me there is no music, as pure, truthfull and uplifting as the rythmic sounds of true African music.
The voice of Africa is the song of life.
That is true X Leonhart
wow i'm South African this is beautiful!!!!
Doesn't matter where we're from or what "race" we are, but man can our fellow man make heart touching music.
I listened to this song for a presentation on Kenya and the music of Kenya for my choir class. I still listen to this song. It’s so good aaaa
