I used to be like her. But now I’m super girly, still like boyish things tho . I hated dresses but now I loveee them. Not every girl grows out of the tomboy “phase” tho. My mom wants me to be girly. Shes always asking me “Are you gay” and I’m LIKE NOOO IM STRAIGHT. Im a full out tomboy. I haven’t worn a dress since the first grade. Now all i do is wear jeans and a hoodie, jeans and a oversized shirt, or jeans and a t-shirt. Skirts are a no, dresses are a no. My mom allows me to wear what i want. I even tried to change for her hobby wise. I tried cheerleading and hated it. I couldn’t do a cheerleading move if my life depended on it 🤧. Most of my friends are half tomboy half girly. But we all like most of the same things. We get along . Its not like my mom doesn’t love me but it almost feels like she doesn’t accept me for me, style wise, personality wise.. anything like that. A common response to me saying “I’m a tomboy” is “are you gay?” Or “you aren’t a boy” i honestly don’t know how to feel about this. I just want to be myself without her talking about it and making me feel like i have to be or act a certain way-

@poker you should never feel ashamed for wearing clothes that are honestly just really comfy. I personally don’t try to dress all “girly” all the time and that’s totally fine! The thing that matters is if you love yourself. I’m sure your mom loves and accepts you, sometimes people don’t know what to do when people are different than them. Anyways I hope you continue to dress for you and not others 🙂

I am not a tomboy or a girly girl. You tell me what am I. I love sports. My favorite is gymnastics and dance. I workout. I hate makeup but love doing my hair. Love to do skin care. Hate dresses. I love to wear sports clothes and clothes that are neat and fancy but not a dress. I love stretching. I eat only healthy. Love to take care of my body. Love to study hard. Love to succeed. I also forgot that I love my family a lot. I am very talkative ( as you can tell ) I am just a person who loves adventure and new things and to have healthy habits. ☺️
I have 2 sets of twins. My identical daughters did this. One likes makeup the other is a lip gloss and mascara. I cried when I saw them for their prom with makeup and dressed up.
