Can't wait for this on FS2020. This is the plane I will 99% of the time be flying. So excited! I've been watching a lot of these videos so I don't feel like an idiot when I first get in.
Yes, this has become my main ride in fs2020 now, though you need to the augmented mod, because the built-in one is , to put it bluntly, crap. Of course, the moment I play and win the lotto (mathematically in about 20 thousand years give or take) I'm buying a real one! 😁
I agree and love the aircraft for it's design. But you can buy an beautiful example of many older aircraft for 1/3 of the price and the million dollars you save will buy a lot of fuel and maintainence. Flight schools are unlikely to pay the extra 1/2 million above the DA42 and the DA62 is not big enough for the majority of charter companies so I am not really sure where it fits into the market.
@@chucklesx i think it is more of an aircraft for private buyers who fly their own plane either for business or just as a recreation cause it has space to accommodate a family and all their luggage easily even with full fuel and also since it uses jet A which is much more easily available than avgas in most parts of the world except maybe in north america where avgas is quite widely available, so i can see the appeal for it.
Must be their most popular paint scheme I see. I maintain one just like it. Also interesting to note that the one I work on isn’t the only one with “twittering” engines at low power; believed to be the alternator belt I think.
Would be awesome if Diamond Aircraft would offer: optional dual side panel mounted control sticks, and/or dual rams horn yokels. Aso, because of size/7-place, average flight mission and the power-plants, Diamond should offer an optional pressurized cabin. If any GA twin should have these options, it is the Diamond DA-62...imho. Happy/Safe Flying!
My wife and I were in Austria ending a river cruise and I was fortunate enough to schedule a test flight. I didn’t have my headsets or any gear. Just grateful to experience the ride. I will work to be better prepared next time. Glad you enjoyed! -Tim
Always hard to please everyone, wasn't planning on bringing full video and production crew along for this opportunity... Tried to see watch some of your videos to see your standard of comparison... but still looking...

Вот так тестируют самолёты... Здорово. Спасибо за видео:).
Beautiful!
Beautiful airplane.
Very nice aircraft especially when those interested in new modern twins have few options. Thanks for the video.

Probably the best of its class around these days. I would love to own one. Maybe if I win the lotto. I wud do almost anything
Would make a nice RC model to play with.
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩❤
cool...
I'd guess the DA62 costs $1 000 000 - but it has charme, not only its economy :) -- I really like this bird. (Greets from Carinthia) :D
hmm or think about DA42NG :)
On the air in 17 sec.
nice...now all I got to do is rich.
Me too 😂
AYJET FLİGHT SCHOOL 💪
Can this be fitted with a belly hatch for aerial photography like the GEOSTAR?
Sure it could, just write a cheque with enough zeros and i bet they'd redesign the entire aircraft however you like
there exists a special version for :D
Fantastic airplane !!! The only problem G1000 because always i prefer GTN750 or SkyView :)
PROBLEM G 1000 ???
What registration
Do you go full power on taking off?
Yes, pulling back a bit (to a specific rpm, that I don't remember) once established in a climb
100% during take off (max 5 min), 92% on cruise climb

SO how many have been sold so far ? 3 per yr to rich guys who barely know what they are doing ?
Sounds like a jealousy laden comment
@@aldm1967 Technically, it's envious, not jealous. And about 1.41 million usd as I've spec'd mine.
NON! No chat chewers!
bye seneca,baron 58
extremely nice aircraft but very bad video due to the engine noise !!!!
ΔΙΟΝΥΣΙΟΣ ΚΛΑΔΗΣ They haven’t got electric ( quiet) planes yet 😉. Prefer to hear the engine rather than crappy music though.
it's a very good plane, but it's noisy.
I hate when someone takes the time to make a nice video like this, but doesn't spend the 20 bucks to buy a headset cable for their camera.

I prefer hearing the sound of the engines
I hope your airplane is better than your video.
