I feel like i've just been shown the true nature of the universe for the first time. I need to get this full instructional, like, yesterday.
pro trick : watch series on flixzone. Been using them for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Danny Bishop Definitely, I've been watching on Flixzone} for since december myself :)
@@dannybishop872 I don't see this instructional on flixzone
How has your journey been?
still money after 7 years. Gold stuff here Ryan!
Hell Yeah! Ryan Hall, you Sir, know your jiu-jitsu!
So smart guy and great teacher. Wish i could roll with him!
Fakkkk yes, this is way above my belt grade though 😂 so Genius
Amazing to watch. The explosion sounds are hilarious. Thumbs up for sure.
Absolute grandmaster of grappling. Very impressive!
What an amazing martial artist.
This thing is gold and I like the way he explains it's very fluid.
this is BJJ's nuclear science... :) Nice!
Watching this stresses me out. It makes me feel like my game is limited.
Learned this at an Andre galvao seminar, except he used his top leg to hook
My mind is blown!!!!!!!
This is totally a game changer!
ryan hall is fantastic.
The explosions...why for you try to give me heart palpitations of DOOM!?
nice xplosions
Holy crap this is some amazing shit. Thank you Ryan Hall!!
This dudes DVDs are the truth...
Just beautiful.
WAR RyAN HaLL !! good luck for your next fight , a true legend of the sport , and wish he ll get more UFC fight and pp start to recognize what a genius he is
How will I ever be like this 😩😩😩
Awesome stuff. I think Ryan Hall is some kind of ground wizard!!
Thanks.
ryan hall is amazingggg
the almost mount one worked on a bb, high level purps, and a blue belt world champ within my first few tries at it. fuckin golden.
Explosion!
Very nice!
Both Ryan & Eddie will teach their students what they think works regardless of who out there first showcased the move. I've seen Eddie going over a 50/50 set up & obviously this is Ryan doing his thing with a twister roll variation... that's just all good teaching. If every instructor just taught their own shit, you'd have to travel the fucken globe everytime you got interested in something new.
Nasty roll, awe
fantastic
nice in depth and everything, I didn't know the deep knee woulda been a problem
too good.
I tried this, first time it worked, second time I stuck my leg in there... I'm embarrassed... Oh well, I'm still a white belt :)
This is why I never landed this. I would stick my leg in too far
mind blown
Eddie Bravo deserves some royalty for this technique
Crazy details🤔
This is some deep shit. Thank you for sharing!
and Ryan does other variations. The twister roll is a rolling back attack transitioning to a twister.
this back take can lead to a twister, i think this is the method that eddie bravo/the korean zombie uses
Nice! Did they work for you? I tried to go for the basic first one he showed but it wasn't during drilling so it didn't fully work out. Yeah, he has a weird accent I guess.
Wow, must drill these!!!
What do you do when they get to their knees when you hook their leg with the side control backtake
thats some cool stuff i wish i could do :(
@mrtyson2u it may get a tap in the gym, or in rare cases in tournaments and MMA matches but because of its beig less dangerous, untill someone can prove you can snap a neck or break a back, it will be in status with low percentage moves, standard neck cranks, arm crushes, no gi ezekiel, wristlocks, ect
Sorry if this a ignorant question, i really don't mean it to be but isn't this a twister roll ?
Sad that this DVD taught me more about the twister roll than any 10P person I've ever met, trained with or watched. Probably b/c those guys are busy trying to invent new moves will Ryan is mastering high percentage ones.
Man there's so many things to learn in bjj.
is there a reason you wouldn want to triangle your legs prior to rolling?
Facking brilliant.
great video, and i utilize a lot of 10th planet techniques as well, no reason to isolate yourself to one version, i think what's happening now is exactly what happened to jazz when bop came out, a fantastic explosion of creativity, so stop wasting your time resisting innovation. One question though, I've been running into a little trouble when sliding over from the half guard set-up, the opponent usually keeps their feet locked. any clues how to disconnect them? does the dvd address it?
Wow.
@lsloewen2
You must not have been put in a good deep twister. It's easy to advise some one to ignore the pain but not so easy when you are getting cranked.
@mrtyson2u I still don't see how the leverage of the twister is enough to do permanent damage to the spine. If it can render a person unable to continue the fight, it would be one thing. But I believe the only real threat is stretched muscles and pain, compared to chokes and straight armlocks which will send someone to the hospital after successful application.
He got a lot of this from Glover.
what if the guy when doing the first move from the sidemount before hooking my leg when i switch my hips to do the move he grabs my back and pulls me towards him then im exposing my back ....is there any ways to control both his arms when switching my hips and not allowing him to grab me ...bcz if i place my arm under his shoulder he can still get it out ? thank you for your help !
after the initial roll he does isn't there a calf slicer of sorts right there when he has his shin in the crook of his knee?
CJ Crissman yeah that's what I figured, especially since calf slicers are more pain submissions. I'm still a pretty nooby white belt so I'm trying to ignore the flashy cool looking stuff and focus on maintaining/getting dominant positions mostly.
+erblecde there's actually a vaporizer their that's both a toe hold and calf slicer/crusher
erblecde much better there is the twister
We do something called the ice cream truck where u press the leg like your going to take the back but catch the other leg and pull back like a upside down electric chair
Is this the truck?
as to not lose the leg in transition?
@inframundo2006 its sometimes illegal in bjj tournaments
Gooodd thanksss n.n
Both him and the Gracie's use alot of 10P sweeps, i don't think they like the lockdown however, probably because it can inhibit your hip movement
my guess would be so that you can roll him forward a whole lot easier.
like it
No. Eddie Bravo doesn't own this move (or any bjj technique that he teaches).
I've already embarrassed myself a few times trying to rolling back take.
@jujitsu34 he is not hating. but if u see a mouse a chasing a cat. you got to say something.
lmao! @ the 2:38 sec mark not only does he take position but also scared my ass
Ryan: can you extend your neck, Seth? Seth: no Ryan: right. Translation = Fuckin A, Skippy, you can't.
I'm sick of the Eddie bravo groupies! It's incredible how tunneled visioned these guys are.
Eddie has them drinking the kool aid.
What if the person locks their ankles though
I’ve always been wanting to ask that but idk if anyone can answer it
Even though that's an advanced move, I actually seen white belts do those before.
@GrapplersRus HAHA...arent you that guy who got kicked out of 10thplanet for being a liar and a charlatan!! I like these techniques..and I study 10thplanetjj as well...these all just more variations and more options from the position...ohhh...and they taught this at a 10thplanet school i frequent like 2 years ago. Ryan Hall is amazing..either way!!
@inframundo2006 if your tough enough you can ignore the twister, there is not enough leverage there to cause more than pain and soreness
A real chess game
What if hes heavier?
Works anyway.
oh shit! lol
@R3KLEZ hahaha
This is Eddie bravos move not ryan hall's it's fine that you show it but dont pass it off like it is your own there is video of Eddie bravo showing this roll to another grappler at the 2003 adcc in Sao Paulo brazil where he taped royler Gracie with a triangle choke.
Ah so you think Eddie Bravo invented it? lol
It's jiu jitsu man nobodies passing it off as if they invented anything. you commenting on every guard pass video too?
I'm a 10th planet purple and even I'm embarrassed by John Doe's comment. Nobody in the world is documenting who invented certain moves because it's impossible. Maybe JJ Machado taught it to Eddie? Ryan Hall is also not claiming to have invented this move. Focus on the technique, not who "patented" it first.
You can't own jiu-jitsu.
Very nice!
