He talked about covering these with 3M cordura.... which I think will solidify this in an amazing way. I think outside of thick duty belts, this has the potential to be the new standard.
The True North is stiff enough to eliminate the leg strap if desired. Looks like the tegris won’t work without a strap holding the holster down for the draw. Still great to see more options and great review as always.
I'd like to see a review on that holster. I tried a vp9 with a tlr 1 in one and i could still easily get a finger in and pull the trigger. Always been curious about other guns and how well it really works as a universal holster.
At 4:45, I imagine once the belt is worn the radius of it going around a waist will create a little bit of slack for the mounting hardware that runs through the molle, which is why I imagine it’s so tight when the belt is laid flat on a table top.
Tegris is an amazing material, but woven polypropylene has its limits - lasercutted holes and cuts can brake (especially the holes that are lined up very close together). the temperature resistance is rather low and the basic stability is too weak. Of course it is very economical to laser plastic - but I wouldn't trust a weapon system weighing around 1kg to that - but for pouches and carriers and small adapters - tegris is very good!

That was my first thought, to get rid of the shine/sheen of tegris to subdue the look of the mount.
LOVE THE GEAR ROOM! any chance we get a tour? Maybe your favorite containers for storage/travel
I can do that.

I have both. The true North is better. Just the solid feel it provides when drawing is enough to put it above the tegris hanger
Ah, the midwits discusing things they don't understand.
You're absolutely completely wrong.
Like the concept. Anything to make you lighter.

I have noticed the same. It’s cut too aggressive on a handful of pistols.

The radius goes the wrong way for that, it will only get tighter.
I like the new wilder tactical holster adapter
Would this work on a regular shooters belt without MOLLE? As long as the belt isn’t too thick and velcro should prevent it from moving around.
Should work if you add Velcro.
Interesting.

12 layer tegris isnt going to do that. 6 layer definitely would.
What trauma kit is this?
TPG Black but they are out of business.
But will it rub a hole in my thigh?
Probably not.
TEGRIS EVERYWHERE
EVERYWHEEEERRRREEEE
True North is just way too expensive for my liking.
