Through this video I tried to raise some money to help build a library for kids living in one of the poorest parts of Nairobi. The money raised is not nearly enough to build the library as the whole project costs 27.000 USD. We took the money that has been collected instead, bought some school supplies, and made children in one of the local schools very happy. Thank you everyone who has supported this idea. The contributions are still ongoing. Get in touch with me through my e-mail (rolandklimant@gmail.com) if you would like to support the library. Thank you. Roland.
This clip has brought back childhood memories. I was raised in Kibra and it used to be an amazing suburb until population exploded beyond available social amenities. 1. Play grounds grabbed 2. All rivers polluted 3. Crime especially teenage related , went beyond control. 4. Schools overpopulated and in deplorable conditions. 5. Dangerous and careless electricity connection. 6. Teenage pregnancy and rapid school dropout rates. 7. Poor county administration and bad governance. 8. LACK OF EMPLOYMENT
There is a City or country called Africa? Why not be specific and say exactly where on the continent you are in the title and stop with the stupid stereotypes
That slum had exist after 1963. Ppl was gone and leaved their small land and thought they can better live in nairobi. Now its a bad shit slum and nothing is changed.
