We built this Fiver Feral Cat House for an old stray Tom 5 years ago to great success - as the Fiver House is kept on our covered porch, we put in 1 door with a flap & put in an 'outdoors' cat heating pad & extra fleece inside & a little window (!) - we have harsh weather here (it's just outside & is under supervision). That sweet old cat passed away after about a year. Soon a cute little kitty started hanging around & we set it up for her. After 2+ years in the Fiver House & a LOT of patience & love (food & treats) we were able to handle her & bring her inside permanently & I gave this great house away to a friend. Now we're building another Fiver Cat House the same way this Thanksgiving weekend because a neighbor rented their house out to friends for 6 months (they'll be back) & left their inside/mostly outside cat behind for the renters to care for (they feed him but they're not always taking him in at night & we're not happy.) A gorgeous Bengal but he's tough & is destructive indoors & sprays plus I already have 2 females inside or I'd take him in. We always give him 'loves' & feed him when he comes around daily anyway & we'll set this great house up again for him this weekend & have great peace of mind. Thank you Fiver Guys! Good video. Repetitive techno robot Music not so much.
Can you please slow this video down. It’s hard to follow what you are doing. It would be nice if it was narrated videos like this are useless especially for people who never built something like this what size is this cat house and how many full grown cats will it fit ????
Hi Gina! You can download the building plans they are using for free at fivercats.com. So long as they get along, a shelter should comfortably fit two cats.
Nice build but that music was horrific!
Lol I wonder about what kind of animals would be lodging up in that little cabin lol...someday maybe you should try putting it up a tree lol..
Curious George
Cut the music please awful
