Fr. Thomas Joseph White OP on the Heart of Redemption

Fr. White is one of the youngest professors at the Pontifical Academy of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C., the seminary for the Dominican Province of St. Joseph, and a center of Thomistic learning for both priests and laity. A convert to Catholicism at age 22 while studying at Brown University, he is an expert in Thomistic metaphysics, Christology and Roman Catholic-Reformed ecumenical dialogue. He has authored the upcoming Wisdom in the Face of Modernity: A Study in Modern Thomistic Natural Theology (Sapientia Press).

Can you imagine if Catholics exercised the same skepticism they use to evaluate Islam and Hinduism to evaluate Christianity? Maintaining superstitions and credulity takes so much effort. Obviously, solving the world’s problems is no easy task. But the sincerity of those who would like to show leadership would serve so much better than pursuing magic.
