- There are three Journey to Atlantis coasters, one at each of the Seaworld parks. Even though they look different, this one and the one at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida are Mack Rides water coasters, Do you know what type of coaster the one at SeaWorld in San Antonio, Texas is?
This SeaWorld park in located in San Diego, California.

I like the mixture of traditional coaster and the splash ride.
all three Journey to Atlantis attractions are manufactured by Mack Rides. The one in San Antonio is a Supersplash model (similar to Europa park's Atlantica Supersplash minus the extra hill at the end of the big drop)
This ride is perfect. Both exciting and relaxing. It is a long ride, which is awesome.
I like this video, thanks.
Probably one of my favorite rides of all time.
I remember getting on this ride WAAY back then in 5th grade, we were one group: two of my friends sat at the front, and one of them was just freezing wet.
Luckily, I sat in the back
For some reason at 4:16 I was concentrating on Emperor instead of the ride 😂
I’ve only rode the Orlando one. I was never a fan of the way these ones looked being all outdoor, but looks fun now.
Thanks for sharing the video. Greetings from Brazil.
I don't understand how this remodel concept got through approval, the only thing I could approve is the smoother tracks. This lady in ride audio is so annoying, especially if you ride multiple times for the sake of cooling off. Also the architecture's color scheme looks like a submarine instead of an ancient city. The other coasters in the background I could get used to, but that isn't what bothers me.
In my defense for my feelings toward this remodel, I am used to riding story based attractions like Disney and Universal. I like big coasters too, mainly if it fits the right kind of theme park, like Six Flags for example.
This was my first roller coaster ever and I went on it like 7 years ago and what were those voices saying in the elevator??
5:09 Is that an employee on the right? She doesn't have much shade. Otherwise a very cool ride, love to see more water coasters.
such a fun ride
I almost lost my hat on that ride on a rainy day, I was in the middle seat, it's better on a little rainy day
Journey to Atlantis? They should rename this The Jason Mamoa Coasta!
Why is Apollo’s chariots theme playing?! LOL
SeaWorld and Busch Gardens are owned by the same company, so why not reuse it?
cool! goijg this summer, only 10 mins away 😀
Imagine you get to the top before the first drop and a cutout of Jason Momoa appears and says “it’s not fish boy, it’s fish man..”
Could I use this in a video I’m making? I’d really appreciate it if I could. I’m going to give you credit.
Fix the ride to its original beauty with the side screens in the elevator!!!
Year later it still looks like ass
AQUAMAAAAAN
Wazzup!
@@VelocicoasterFanboy Hey!
I was literally back seat on this ride and it feels like you’re falling I don’t go on rollercoasters much but I think the second part of the ride that involves a small rollercoaster is much scarier than the actual drop because of how high you are
4:18 Emperor :)
Coaster looks nice but the lack of a story line and appropriate theming leaves me a bit unimpressed.
Tf does it need a story line for
You never want to visit a Six Flags or Cedar Fair park then
@@starryagent9936 I try to avoid them, I have no desire to ride cloned coasters with zero thought given to theming or ambiance. It's supposed to be a 'theme park', not an expensive parking lot.
It does have a story
@@MoultrieGeek you sound fun...
Reminds me of August 2022
I’ve done this before
Too bad the screens will never get fixed
This doesn't look very good...The theming is non-existent and the only good thing here is the long relaxing ride length...👍🙏
I remember riding this when it was first put in and the theming was much better. Idk why so much of it is gone now.
Not every roller coaster has to have a theme to it. (Edit: yes I know I bash on San Antonio’s Journey To Atlantis but that has no theming, this has a little bit of theming.)
This doesn’t look scary at all lol
