But above 60 it runs fine. And NO more FPS does not make the game faster. Did a test from Bayshore Eastbound to the Lane split barrier right before the Tatsumi PA since its nice and wide and there are no turns. 60, 100, 120, 144, 180, unlimited. All the times were within a second with no rhyme or reason to their placing. TLDR: If you have frame gen turned on turn it off. Adjust your settings so you get at least 60 FPS.
so are you saying to set the fps to cap at 60 or leave it at unlimited? i turned the frame gen setting off the sec it was making the flashing lights act all funky
IMO the whole Frame Generation idea is just stupid, like... they are just trying to FORCE the GFX card to spawn more frames than the hardware is allowed to produce, how is that going to impact the performance positively...
Frame generation gives a significant performance boost by increasing the number of frames displayed, even if they aren't natively rendered. It takes more performance to render more framws. However, it's not compatible with all games and can sometimes lead to artifacts, and other issues, which is why I personally don't prefer using it. With that, it's worth also noting that generating fake frames allows for smoother gameplay without demanding near as much raw performance from your hardware. This makes it useful for single player games or older games capped at 30 FPS due to emulation limitations or just being capped for other reasons. I would advise against it for racing games, especially sims. It adds input delay and latency.
More people definitely *NEED* to see this. Saw the change during the livestream and your reaction was fucking priceless dude, big ups for doing a video for those that have no idea. 🔥

So your on the right track, for me GI above medium slows down the sense of speed.

wonder if it has a speed up problem as well. wonder if ur playing at 2x speed xd
Doesn't seem like it gets faster. Only slower.
I would like to turn off the camera shake in this game. It's brutal and made me stop playing it. I don't think you can disable it. Otherwise the game is pretty good.
Agree, I hate it. Been saying this for weeks.
I know nothing about pc's and looking for advice, I currently have Lenovo IdeaPad 3i Gaming Laptop, Intel Core i5 Processor, 16GB RAM, GTX 1650, 1.5TB SSD, 15.6" Full HD, what setting would give me the best experience that this can offer me, thankyou to anyone who can help
1080p on medium settings and anti-aliasing set to TSR Quality is probably plenty. If you can't maintain 60FPS, try dropping GI to low.
Happy gaming.
Tokio from Dreamcast is the Best . I like this versión, But Dreamcast is better in gameplay and tuning options
me with i5 8400 and radeon integrated graphic💀
The struggle is real, I'm hitting 55 fps 720p all low with 50% upscale but game is fun. I've dealt with worse on PS2 so it's fine. I'll buy the game on ps5 when it releases...
Same with intel UHD graphics and everything on Low, even with the slowdowns the game is INSANELY fun. Honestly is a miracle it even runs.
@@Owkenn yeah, i get 55 ish fps, 60 without traffic. but insanely fun.
cannot wait for a ps5 release, day 1 purchase. disc copy too.
This game struggles on steamdeck but looks like txr2 on dreamcast but upscaled
Can get 60fps with all settings in low and 80% scale at 720p
The game runs like crap, can be smooth then go slow mo,sometimes goes slowmo for no reason so prolly a mem leak
It IS beta afterall so hopefully they sort it
Just sick of people saying this game runs well and is well optimized NO IT IS NOT
Id aegue thqt the game is using more cpu than gpu, game runs slower when racing someone
Graphics settings that kill it is global illumination and shaders
Btw .
A steam aint a potato,o can run some amazing games on my deck and most at 60fps or 45fps/90hz
THIS GAME RUNS BAD,and that aint a punt at the devs, its in early access
UE Lumen = always gloomin'
Loving the game addictive . Rtx3070 I'm finding high settings is fine . Ultra is not optimized imo .
I hope or would love the map on 32.9 ultra wide monitors to be larger on the left side this isn't genki fault
