hi Katherine, i followed 140 for 50 mins but abt 43 mins it started to cracked abit, then i covered with aluminum foil and increased to 160, the cake cracked like huat kieh. may i know why? TIA
I have tested the recipe yesterday. I really love it, the durian custard has just the right amount of sweetness, the way I like it. However, it did not stay fresh long, the custard went bad after 1 day even when kept in the fridge. Any tips, or comments something that I did wrong maybe? Or is it meant to be eaten immediately, and not be kept?

請問蛋糕的部分是用中筋麵粉嗎為什麼不用低筋麵粉呢?
@@yuli8330 其实都一样用途,只是口感上有区别。 低筋面粉做出来的蛋糕比较细腻,反而中筋面粉稍微出粗。但是我比较建议你用 self raising flour ,成功率会比较高。

I fine up my self 1 tbs = 9 to 10g .so I use 9.2g is better good 👍 .. 10 g is too hard ...after the next day ..

From what I know, the gelatin is added to the whipped cream to make it more stable/firm. Common in commercially sold cakes
