Flight : • FlightLine Spitfire Mk...
    ******************************************************************
To honor this aircraft and the heroic crews who served with it, FlightLine presents its Supermarine Spitfire in the popular Mk.IX variant. Constructed using EPO foam and painted with matte finish scale colors, this 1200mm wingspan model uses carbon tubes and plastic parts to reinforce the removable wings and control surfaces for durable handling. The wing and elevator can be easily removed in seconds for convenient transport. FlightLine captures the beautiful classic lines of the Spitfire Mk.IX with an accurate cowl shape, exhaust stacks, and accurate canopy outline complete with a scale rear view mirror. Split flaps, radiators, two optional air filters, and two optional decal sets are included in the box to provide pilots with multiple customizing options. Choose from either Commander Pierre Clostermann’s LO-D or Wing Commander James “Johnnie” Johnson’s JE-J.

Still saving for the big one! I prefer bigger birds, but she's just as nice!

Very beautiful model! The paint job is very nice for a foam plane!

I'm not sure if this is too late to get a response but I will give it a try. I relatively new to RC. Less then 2 years. I did not see in the video where is it best to put the receiver? I'm assuming behind the battery but I was hoping the video would show me. This video also mentions installing a gyro and that the maiden video would show that but I do not think it does. Is there a video that shows these two steps?

It’s beautifully detailed for this size! Lights are overrated anyway as they add complication and most of us fly by day. They’ve certainly got the finish right. I’m looking at this, the Sea Fury or the Ta-152 right now. Probably going with the FW. Great video. 👍🏻

Where do you put receiver and which one do I use. I found a loose weight in fuselage, where does that go

Is it possible to not use any glue for the wing assembly?

Would hot glue work? I just have bad experiences with super glue

it will work. but that hot glue melts on real hot days or if its in your car on summer days the glue will melt and part fall off. had it happen to me once

I got a 4s 4200 lying around, do you think 200 more will be a problem or is it fixible?

mAh doesn't matter, it comes down to the battery fitting. You can fly this for 1 min on a 4S 1000mAh if you wanted. But a 4000mAh gives you more time in the air. Your 4200 should be fine

YO GUYS this guy blundered make sure before you glue the wing that the elevator servo lines up because when they manufacture the plane they messed up on the rod length that connects to elevator. I glued the wing and cannot fix it now em without damaging the plane. Check everything lines up before you glue

Great catch my man! I just had the same adjustment to make that would have been impossible once the wing was bolted on. Thank you. DK

You are correct. I would have adjusted those elevator and rudder servos in proper neutral position before making any wing gluing but new pilots might not have caught that error.
