    Microneedling works.. my husband uses the Banisher, a dermastamp that helps in avoiding the active acne and focusing on the scars (problem areas). Love how it actually shows evident results after a week or so

    Trinny, I know I'm not your usual demographic but I've got to say I'm hooked on your videos. Your honest, no nonsense approach is endearing and useful. I've watched all your microneedling videos and decided to have a go. I've ordered the ZGTS 0.2mm roller recommended above today! I think your videos are so useful for people that don't have a lot of spare money to waste. They can watch your videos as you've done the research for us, and then make an informed decision. Loving your work Trinny. :)

    Thanks for the microneedle primer
    Used them on and off. An suggestion also to use a fresh pillowcase on nights one microneedles and in general a few times a week. There's definitely microbes, sweat, dribble, and the like that build up no matter how fastidious your regimen may be.

    So, I'm trying a zero budget natural style beauty routine. Dry brushing face instead of micro needling. Who knows if it has a similar effect? Also, I'm using green tea against sun damage brown spots, olive oil instead of face cream (have used olive oil for 10 years now and its great) oats as a face mask..and chewing 7 carrots a day to build up facial muscle tone. Haha. Let's see how it goes. :)

    My plastic surgeon performed a Profound RF procedure on my face last year. I did a video on my beauty channel as well but never knew what length the needles were that went into my skin. My downtime was about 5 days with severe bruising. My doctor told me that I this Profound RF procedure was a "one and done" procedure that I won't need any more microneedling. I think I still need to continue with home microneedling as I age. I would appreciate any suggestions, thoughts and comments regarding the "Microneedling on Steroids" version called Profound RF. Any help appreciated.

    I have heard that you shouldn't dermarolle more than twice a month, because if you dermarolle your skin often you then destroy the new collagen that your skin is building upp. And here I hear that Trinny is dermarolling twice a WEEK?!? What is correct then?

    The instruction to ZGTS roller says that for all sizes from 0.5 up you have to sanitise the face, hands and the work surface with rubbing alcohol. I don’t think it is safe to use the longer needles the way you demonstrate...

      In my opinion I think you should go to a professional 😊 but yes, it's possible.
      At home treatments in your case could make it so much worse thou.. The pros also have thicker needles and goood serums to baby up that leg again 👍

    Great video Trinny. I use the GloPro ‼️Only once a week BC I’m a newbie. And 72 with thin pale skin. My burning questions are never addressed fully. So much controversy ‼️ some say never use vitamin C after rolling or retinol. If you are unable to answer, maybe others know the real truth. I’m so torn. Many say that the window is short after rolling, for product absorption. Like 20 minutes. Does anyone know if it’s safe to use C or Retinol immediately after ? There is a dermatologist on UA-cam who says never use either. BC it can cause damaging effects. I did call GloPRO and they stated you’re able to use anything. 🤔🤔🤔 please can someone give opinions. Thank you. ❣️

    • @elizabethboin1735
      @elizabethboin1735 5 років тому +3

      It completely depends on your skin and how you react to certain products. If your skin is sensitive and you apply a vitamin C or retinol after derma rolling it can irritate your skin and cause inflammation. If I were you I would start off by doing the derma rolling and just use a very simple moisturizer afterwards and see how your skin reacts and if everything works out fine the next time you do derma rolling again you could add a couple drops of vitamin C to the moisturizer and see how your skin reacts to that, if everything works out then the third time you could use maybe the vitamin C by itself and see how that works out. When it comes to skin and skin care products unfortunately there’s no definite answer for everybody because people’s skin react differently to different ingredients.

    I'm not even sure what I have just watched.... Nothing against trinny however I would suggest that if your thinking of doing this at home you should seek professional advice from an ACTUAL PROFESSIONAL...alot of what she's saying is right but a lot of the information is pretty worrying.... There is a very good reason why only medical professionals can use a lot of the needle depths and certainly wouldn't be performing them twice a week etc... The whole point of collagen induction therapy is to create wound healing..... You also need to be very careful which products you Are using alongside this chemical peels and needling can cause PHIP - please do your homework taking a lot of this advice could actually make your skin worse 🤦‍♀️

  • @twonganttable
    @twonganttable 3 роки тому

    Do not use the Derma Roller like she’s using it. LIFT the roller up after each stroke!!!!! Don’t keep the roller on your skin while continuously rolling!!!!! That’s why she began to get red!!!! You will damage your skin very badly.

    No offence Trinny but you' ve had so much done for so many years - peels, botox, fillers, micro needling, the most expensive products known to mankind, that you really can't speak for the average woman.
