Hello Ben and thanks for this interesting video. 1. Take one project and finish it , from start to end. Production ready. 2. Try to make incremental version as you build the application without breaking it. 3. Pair programming - find someone who knows the topic better then you or try to explain some topic to someone. 4. Ask for help - using Stack Overflow or Twitter
I've found about your channel recently and was really shocked with the quality and the level of content. I'd like to think about myself as senior level developer but I still learn a lot from your vids - I.e your react native and react native web + yarn workspaces series was very informative and really practical. Which I would say is very rare thing to see because often times tutorials found on yt are so basic that they do not present much value for someone more advanced. It's also very inspiring to see someone who is putting their time to make such a great content and teach people. just wanted to say you're awesome and keep up the good work!
stumbled upon this, thanks for the tips! i actually started a project a couple days ago and i wasnt sure if i would be able to finish it or not but this video helped me decide to keep on and try to push it to prod!
Ben, you speak about planning and drawing diagrams before beginning development. It would be great if you could do a video giving a bit more detail about the processes you have taken, types of diagrams you use, whether or not you write up docs defining conventions etc. There is not a lot of information out there in regards to planning the architecture of a React application. Thanks!
Most of the time I just think through it in my head, and might talk through it with a colleague If I want to write something down, I'll either make a diagram with www.draw.io/ or create a db diagram with www.dbdesigner.net/
I am hooked on your channel (I need more TypeScript and NodeJS to be happy so I am looking all your videos where you are doing talks) I like how you sound clever and smart but at the same time you sounds happy and funny more than too much serious etc
Ben Awad I kind of like guys with Hoodies I am lucky maybe 😄 I didn’t noticed the sound quality but it is always nice to watch your video I am a Junky who’s drunk is TypeScript/NodeJS and my tool to consume my drug is VSCODE I don’t have any word to say how much I love VSCODE
Hi ben you're a good speaker, so my advice don't try to talk about that point saying you are not good, go ahead and release more videos your a great person so people will like you trust yourself
Hi, I am having problems creating a customised clothes website, but I am stuck on the functionality. Like if you select pattern it change the pattern on the person and user can select different collars, cuffs, pockets etc. Do you have any solution. I am using html5 canvas but I am unable to do it / find reference for the solution. Pleas help.
Pramp is a site where you are paired with another programmer and practice interviewing. Its like Tinder for programmers who want to prepare for interviews. Any other sites that you know?
Working on improving the audio quality
miss this kinda videos can you do same 🤧

Would love to meetup sometime, but I don't have a ticket to Google Next'19.

I haven't tried using html5 canvas before, but your welcome to join the discord to see if anyone else would be able to assist
@@bawad what did you use? And do you have discord link.
Thanks
I use react

I like this format! Talk about the new languages in your next video, like dart, go, rust...
what would you like to know about those languages?
@@bawad What you think about them, only that :)
Are there online communities to pair up with a programmer?
Pramp is a site where you are paired with another programmer and practice interviewing. Its like Tinder for programmers who want to prepare for interviews.

I don't know, this might make a good startup
Cool! Do you live close to an airport right? :)
nope, this camera's mic is just kinda wonky
I'm replacing it soon
Great video, but you need to like, stop saying "like" so much 😂
agreed
