Bunnings has a large tent with a BBQ grill and some trestle tables. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can book in advance to use them. Local community groups, charities, that want to raise some funds. The group has to buy the bread, snags, condiments, drinks and whatever, from wherever they can get it cheapest and they come in and cook and sell them to raise profits for themselves, it's free for them to use it and Bunnings gets extra customers who are passing by and peckish. Win/win.✌❤
The Chiko Roll.
and Corn Jacks!
Fried Barramundi with chicken salt
Unfortunately the good old Bunnings snags are not usually free. Sadly many have been hit by inflation and have gone up from $2.50 to $3.50 !!😅 (About $2.35 USD) But profits do go to charity.
I seen an old lady slip on an onion at woolies and almost killed herself and she was like im ok all goods
You have to pay for a bunnings snag. They only cost a few bucks and the money raised goes to charity. Each week a different charity group will be selling the snags.
Agh, good old Yorak, mood lifter! 😁👍 My mother made some sort of cake nearly every day, favorites on birthdays, def low inflation? Bunnings snags taste so good because you have to complete to get one and the onions! HSP, only for men with large stomachs! AU Falcon! 😄 Love a servo sausage roll and an iced coffee at midnight on the unit steps! No Zingers, ta! He forgot the Chico Roll! 🧐
Bunnings snags were never free and they are run by charities so you get a good feed while helping those in need.
Hey brother, yeah he forgot the burger with the lot aye. Great videos man i enjoy them all. Be easy bro from the land down under.
as an Aussie I agree that is the best foods for the hsp I get tomato and sour cream. i freaking love most of these foods.
It's Lebanese Australian food lol
@@andymills2985 i know that haha
The best of time should include a proper Aussie burger with the lot from a local shop (not a franchise). Besides the usual lettuce, tomato, ketchup - it usually comes with fried onion, cheese, baon, egg, beetroot & pineapple
Yes. He forgot dim sims. And it’s called a parmi. And to really rile up the comment section. What about a potato cake. 😜
It’s not. It’s parma… 😂🤣😂🤣
A true Corn Jack. You know, the box of 5 that comes with the bags to put them in after they're cooked. I don't think anything can beat a perfectly crisp Corn Jack, not even a Chiko roll.... I had to go search... DRAKES here in South Aus has Corn Jacks and Chicko rolls on special for $5 a box, guess what I'm having for dinner tomorrow 😁
Yep. Love me a corn jack. Might have to go to Drake’s.
@@simbob26 but it's spelled PARMIgiana not PARMAgiana
potato cake is a fritter by definition
Where’s the RSL lunchtime special? Sausages Mashed Potatoes and peas n carrots all floating in brown onion gravy for $6
The Bunning snags are not supplied by Bunning but are sold by charities out side bunnings
He forgot about Tim Tams!
They sell for charity organisation they affiliated with in their area you can buy as much as you want
I've just gotta put in one more item on the list that's a must also down under
Allen's lollies-ANY, snakes most definitely 👍🏾
I hate to say it, but The Natural Confectionery Company has Allens beat now 😁
@@republicofcasuals depends Mate where you are 😉
@@cheryltravis8616 Australia, SA
@@republicofcasuals S.A Great Mate 👍🏾 me too
Kebabs and felafel rolls. 3am food.
Yoy can get as many as you like it's a gold coin for each one you get.
The zinger burger is a coirnals sandwitch in the usa or something like that
I don't think the states do a zinger anything... i could be wrong
The zinger box is not the greatest... The Zinger "Stacker" box is the greatest Aussie feed of all time! 😁
Lamingtons should have beaten HSP. Also duo combo of scones and jam are popular, although that may be more representative of our motherland.
I love a BIG lamington. The ones that are filled with cream and raspberry jam that you get from a good bakery ☺
So the HSP originated in adelaide, south australia. We call it an AB (What AB stands for is debatable, but options range from Afterbirth to Atomic bomb). Story is some people were drunk as hell walking down O'Connell street, wanted food but couldnt decide between a yiros or hot chips, so they got both
I think pretty much anywhere in the world that sells yiros/kebab meat has eventually thought of pairing it with chips, but yeah, it's an AB to me
Missed the Chiko Roll completely so not a true blue Aussie food roundup.
Vegemite is food of the gods - all of them.
It's called a Parmi not a parma you savage.
True about the Woolies mud cake though. I remember that bad boy being $3.50. Stoner gold.
Its parmi.or your in retardville Melbourne
I do not accept your judgement of Vegemite, and I challenge you to have a least 1 piece of Vegemite Toast every day for a month (prepared in the proper way). If you still hate it then, fair enough. Take the challenge, it’ll be good for viewership too.
I get it. My mum LOVES vegemite and cheese, even a drizzle of honey as well, but the second i mention peanut butter and jam..... she turns her nose up at it like it gross... What human that likes peanut butter or jam on its own, would find the combination gross???? My personal favorite is peanut butter, jam and Nutella, throw it in a toasty machine and you will struggle to find a quicker and better desert besides maybe some whip cream to dip it in. Have a go if you like all those things, even a vegemite and cheese done in a toasty machine is GLORIOUS! In case you're wondering, i bought a new toasty machine a few weeks ago and I'm toasting EVERYTHING hehe 😁
@@republicofcasuals Haha, there are some challenging combinations there, the idea of Vegemite with any amount of Honey makes me pretty squeamish. 😅 Though Cadbury brought out a Limited Edition (Thank God) Vegemite Chocolate. It definitely works well with Cheese though, and it also goes well on top of a Steak whilst Cooking it, on the Barbie of course. Haha.
HSPs are disgusting, I'd rather a kebab or Yiros with chips on the side, personal opinion though.
America definitely has way better food than Australian food. I had a burger just from Burger King in America and that was soooo good probably the best burger I have ever tasted..The only thing that saves us is timtams and Pavlova lol..
