I think it's awesome tutorial!! and extra advice makes sense. When inverted the throttle is reversed, pull back to go up and push up to go down. I'm sure I'll wreck a few times trying to get brain to remember. In 2 weeks I can fly a 4ch channel nose in, nose out, thru windows, doorways, under tables sideways and now I'm bored. I will enjoy watching these vids and learning on a sim as well. Thanks for your efferts, this helps us 3D newbies a lot. Cheers!!
I´m looking for 3D videos for learning and i chose this ones, it´s my favorite and one thing very good for me is you talk slowly who´s help me to understand. THANKS from Portugal!!!
RC helps are typically set up so that the blades have positive and negative pitch. The angle or pitch of the blade provides lift. So when its inverted you give neg. pitch to provide lift.
This is so useful! Thank you from the future with RealFlight 9.5! I am just getting good at normal flying with collective pitch on my physical Blade 330S.
@trexinvert The Physics are 100%. Radio is setup with no expo in the sim and ready for full 3D. With practice you can perform slow flips like that on the sim and in real life. It just takes collective management and timing. Good luck with your training! Chad
Surprised people think a heli can not flip like that while in 100% physics and yet flip in slow motion. I have been flying for about 8 months now and when I flip my 700, I can manage the collectives and make it roll real s l o w. Its just collective stick management. Your videos are very good!
Nice vid, can you make one explaining throttle hold, what controls to activate when flipping over? I basically don't understand throttle hold because people say it locks it at 100% but 100% throttle would shoot straight up I would think. Basically how is altitude controlled while inverted?
Amazing demo that... I've got nose in inverted... so great to see the more difficult orientations. Wish i could get tail in inverted, seems impossible!
when you flip it into inverted flight there should be a reverse button that turns the blades a different direction so when you angle the trigger for the altitude down it will move up just because of the angle of the blade
This is really cool thanks for the video just started doing stuff like this todayand I can already do inverted flight because of thank you so much it took me about 5 minutes to learn very nice tutorial
Are you in the "advanced" setting or is it set to "beginner"? There's nothing hard about hovering with a heli that hard, especially if you're on "beginner" setting. I've been using realflight for about 1.5 hours and can hover in any upright or inverted orientation and i can keep it very stable. (this is with a raptor 60 so my 450 will be a bit harder :)
I just wanna say thank you sooooooooo much for making these videos! They have been a huge help to me - I have improved immensely over the past couple of months thanks to you!!! Thanks again! One question, did you make videos for the advanced stuff like lessons 11 and 12?
Don’t skip the 45* hover! And only do sides and nose and tail. It will bite you in the ass. Wenn I was learning I was told to just do sides and nose and tail. I’m in the process of learning piro hover and piro flip and couldn’t understand that I couldn’t control it in piro hover, until I did really really slow.. and what would you know, it’s all the 45* I can’t control. So now after 2 years I need do start over with hovering again, so I can progress to more advanced 3d. Just a tip and hope it helps somebody.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to hover inverted in real flight 7.5 with my dx6i. It was a terrible idea not to get the interlink controller.

Very good instruction. Love flying scale but want to try 3d and not sure where to start. THANK YOU for the GREAT lesson.

I'll hopefully be picking up a blade nano cpx today. I love your videos. They are really helpful
Thank you so much for making this video. I bought the Blade 450 3D and needed to know how to fly 3D so thanks so much for this video.

@bassman2914
Advanced. Its great that this isn't hard for you. Most people struggle with hovering myself included. Good luck with your flying.
How do you get it to fly so slow, and turn over slow? What are your settings? Enjoying all your videos, good learning for me. cheers Graham

i have a dx8 radio. how to i activate the throttle hold and idle up switches? can you show us on a video? thanks
How does the heli not shoot toward the ground when you're upside down???
when you flip it into inverted flight there should be a reverse button that turns the blades a different direction so when you angle the trigger for the altitude down it will move up just because of the angle of the blade

Great vid. What heli are you using on the sim ? Thanks
Because the pitch of the blades is reversed as the heli is flipped.
So as you flipping you apply negative pitch? I use clear view wish I would've Phoenix is Phoenix the exact same as real flying more than clear view?

the first video I have seen that has more than 50 likes and zero dislikes. :)

what is that field you are flying in the sim?
may i know how you upload the save video into youtube. thanks
Wich program you using for recording.
Dont you have to hit your idle up switch?
yes you need idle up with v curve throttle settings

Live ur videos, very informative.

New to flying..that's the hottest shit I ever saw..never get to see it in slow motion like that..
