Okay it took me a hot minute to figure out Emerald hill was Classic sonic in 3d. 1st i noticed the checkpoints as my hint to Gens but it didn't feel like modern sonic, then the confirmation was his running up a ramp and continuing to run in midair.
4:31 actually i recently played unleashed and gens, and the turning speed as well as the homing attack precision and speed is better on unleashed, so technically unleashed originally is the better experience
@@SoniaSpectrumCan't compare them. Each stage has its own restrictions 3D and unrestricted sections. Lot of areas in Unleashed Sonic will refuse too go 3K and just go 767mph or less. Either way Sonic Unleashed Sonic is less agile Both in the air and Ground when it comes to frame data.

that's because generations was designed from literally reusing the unleashed game engine.
it feels illegal having what is originally a 2d level (a classic sonic level) being changed to work in a 3d space, but by god is it impressive

Except Unleashed since Generations and Unleashed uses the same physics engine and the same coding for modern sonic

The Sonic Unleashed game, sonic actually faster; I can confirm, the generations version will cause sonic to gain momentum.
i actually did a comparison vid on that, gens is technically faster with skills vs unleashed maxed out stats with rings
