- This is a scene I animated about four years ago, to be part of a bigger project. It really wasn't up to my current animation standards, so I extended it by a few seconds to better match the accompanying music (originally from Masaru Sato's Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla soundtrack), redid some effects and touched up the animation to test the rendering speed of my new PC -- it gave satisfactory results.
I'll probably re-render this scene for the actual full project itself, cause it still has a couple mistakes and inconsistencies I didn't catch at first.
Characters and most of the concepts seen here belong to Toho Co., Ltd. - Фільми й анімація
Every other Mechagodzilla theme: dark, serious, and action packed.

I'd *kill* to see this as an animated series. To see all the monsters from the Godzilla franchise from all eras in one show with the cartoony and bloody flare to it of the Showa era is just genius. This would be a much better shoe than even a movie like Final Wars, that's for sure. No more dumb, underdeveloped and poorly acted human characters that serve no real purpose other than to pad the time with actors, just pure Kaiju silliness and action with a lose generalized plot connecting it all together. It's brilliant. Somebody give this man money and a platform to do this and his Bionicle G1 commercial aesthetic movies/show on already.

Out of curiosity, what ARE those mistakes and inconsistencies you noticed? I didn't notice any aside from the missing robodong on the rest of the animation which was probably intentional.

You took the silliness of Showa era Godzilla fights and gave it a more modern update with nostalgic elements. You got a sub out of me for your wonderful animations
Anguirus has it rough with the franchise. Despite being the first ever kaiju to be seen on screen other than Godzilla. And being Godzilla best ally. He should’ve had a spot in kotm. I would even replace mothra for him
Actually in kotm in one of the shots in Godzilla's den there was an anguirus skeleton and was even confirmed by the creators, kinda sad

some serious quality videos. the love you show for my childhood heros and villains is unmatched. It feels so right, like this would have been in the classic movies during some of their wacky stunts. The claw arm/eye poke was seriously good stuff as I have been watching a fair amount of Stooges lately. I really love it, man! keep it up!

Bad as I feel for Anguirus, your animation really took advantage of OG MG's flexibility and arsenal in a way I've never really seen. And it was VERY impressive. If the actual movie version was more like this, he'd be my favorite MG and not Kiryu.
