They’ve found that when you release one or two of them into your mouth it will seek out the tonsil stones and devour them. Just be careful not to swallow one since they can survive without oxygen for up to half hour meaning a terrible stomach ache. When they eat all of the stones just remove it and place it an aquarium or release it into a tropical environment if you’re done with it. Don’t worry, they’re small and have soft claws. Often Pets Mart carries them but most people prefer this method in the video over the Borneo water pick method. I prefer the water pick method since many picks are starving in Borneo so I feel I’m saving a life when feeding them my stones. To each their own I suppose.

I've had these. What a nightmare. Now, I water pick my tonsils daily with water and peroxide.
