Rod and Les are my favourites on Opal Hunters. I am so rooting for them to hit it big! I couldn’t believe when Les had that accident and gotten third degree burns and showed up to work!! Rod took one look at him and took him to the hospital. Les is one tough Aussie.

I would like to go to Australia for its on my bucket list. .of things to do I have been chasing gold and treasure location trying to find gold or anything else to secure my kids future and give them a better chance in there future..my question is do you drill small 8" holes to chase the seems I was thinking 💭 if you drill small holes horizontal and get a lot more I understand that it could weaken the area but it would be a shame to miss a big pocket..

I love this program but don’t be fooled by Les, except for setting himself alight at home, he’s fine, I was annoyed with him when he was at the top of their mine, looking down and rocks and stones were falling on Rod, they would be, Les was kicking them down on him! Surely I’m not the only one who noticed? Les takes himself off to the Drs every week, supposedly for blood tests, no one gets blood tests every week, unless they are in hospital, he likes to swing the lead as they say, when he wants to just sit at home. One thing he does that is very funny, is when Rod is using the machine in the mine, Rod will stand right where rubble will fall on him, always standing in the wrong place lol!!! He seems to not understand the danger he is in! Lol! He’s also my age, though it depends what episode you’re watching. 🤠🤹♂️👨🦲😅🌴🦜
