Hey guys today I finally did it!! I made Indias most popular snack, SAMOSAS!! And for the first time I think they came out ok haha I was suer happy it worked out and after experiencing how challenging it can be to hand make samosa's, I appreciate all the love & hard work it takes to make this dish come out right :) I hope you liked the video !

Woah congratulations! You nailed it.👍😊 Those samosas looking super delicious. 🤤😊
Thank you 😋
Jessica... try to go with your guts instead of measuring... you will fail once or twice... but that's ok... even those measurement you are getting online arent the same which they use on their recipe... don't drop everything in the dish... put it one by one... you never know how spicy it will get for your taste... and also for making dough use little water/oil at a time and kneed it... if you feel you need more water/oil then add some more... those cup system doesn't work in this case 😇
Completly right
The just admire the way you love Indian food Jessica and you put in so much effort to also cook and your enjoying the amazing Indian food....keep going ❤️😇
They look fabulous, Jessica. Great job! All you need is a hot cup of tea with those, + some chilli sauce as an extra dipping option - goes down a treat! 😋
10years ago I had a food business where we made 1000 samosas a day at 10 cents per piece. Our chef used to source the secret masala from Hari Ram from allahabad....best tasting masala. It is the cheapest snack for a young crowd. To get everything right is a magical process. You have done a commendable job on your first try. Congratulations.
Samosa aur dam aloo😋😋😋
Omg love this evolution ...from exploring Indian food...to now nailing this samosa! Brava!
Thanks a ton!!
Oh wow girl those samosas look amazing 😍 you did a wonderful job with those, I would love to attempt to make them one day myself also.
you should have added water, a bit whenever you find its losing the water content, for instance when peas were cooking
gud pwoint
AJWAIN SEEDS --- Carom seeds are the seeds of the ajwain herb, or Trachyspermum ammi. They're common in Indian cuisine.
The samosas look just like the samosa we get from the market. I bet they tastes amazing too!
As an Indian I can approve they are legit …nice vid ❤
Now U R Indian... Congratulations 👍👍
I'm American 🇺🇸 but I love ❤️ indian culture and food 🕉 jai shri Ram 🕉
It is so exciting to see you conquering preparing some Indian delicacies....watching you in your entire process making the famous INDIAN SAMOSAS. It was enjoyable watching you make them with so much of love, charm and excitement.
Truly happy in seeing your quest to learn and make delectable Indian dishes. Three Cheers !!!
So so so proud of you Jessica! Once you try a few more times, your samosas will taste better than the restaurants’. I somehow always prefer homemade samosas and they often form our Sunday brunch! Those looked super yummy! They usually pair very well with chai. In fact, for many Indians, the combo of chai, samosa, and jalebi is a staple Sunday breakfast or evening time snack. You can even throw them in the air fryer with little variation in taste. Meat samosas are not a thing in India. They are mostly found outside India. As always, lots of love 💗
True, spicing is perfect
Always start potatoes in cold water- it’s a root vegetable!
Jessica, now you can certify yourself as "Halwai" 😊👍
I want your cooked samosas. You are really good at making indian food. Great job, everything was so perfect.
How happy she is, makes me think whatever she did is perfect
This is super impressive 👏👏
I always stayed away from making samosas because of the work involved with the dough but this is inspiring!
Well done for first attempt and practice will make it perfect.👍

Thank you! :)
Good job jess
Epic wow! You made me hungry. If you ever get a chance to try Indian restaurants in Brampton ON or Surrey BC, both in Canada, don't miss the chance!
You nailed it with respect to its shape. Perhaps a few Indians could not do it this well as far as the shape goes. If you continue making and reviewing Indian dishes at this rate, soon you are going to have the necessary qualifications to get a job as a chef at leading Indian restaurants :)-
That is impressive!! Kudos!! Got to admit, Indian cooking from scratch is fun? Yeah!!
Always pressure cook the potatoes with two or three whistles
Yum yum 😋😋
Good Job 💯, Great 1st attempt!!! 💪..... Looks delicious!

Try traditional punjabi food which is sarson da sag and makki di roti
Wow looks good 😊
Hey, Jessica, i am an Indian and you made samosa like a pro samosha maker, love from india, kolkata.i suggest you to eat samosha with Indian style milk tea that gives you full flavour. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow Jessica, you're a genius. Even many of Indian ladies can't make samosas at home the way you did. By the way here in India, we get readymade cut strips so that you don't need to kneed the dough.
wow you really hardworker
Samosa is also my favourite snacks. I'm not a perfect cook and not good in English 😁 but here are few suggestions -
1. Practice and MISTAKES makes a man perfect. You have learned that always add water slowly slowly.
2. Always mix the flour properly and take some more time to do this. Never stop just after the flour look like a dough. Mix it for some more time. It will be more soft.
3. I think, For Samosa the potato should not mash completely. I think your filling was good but it migjt be little bit more hard.
4. While preparing samosa use simple water to paste the edge of that dough.
Btw your Samosa is looking Yummy...mouth watering. 😋
I love watching you cooking 🔥👌
Great job 👍

It is time you try Kerala Food somewhere. There is Appam and Stew. If you get addicted to the taste of Appam and Stew, you would want to make them. You could eat the Kerala Stew with just the bread - the western bread, which you all eat. So a few UA-cam videos on Appam and stew or some videos of Davis's been here in Kerala will help
Just remembered you went to an Indian Store run by Kerala People, they would direct you to Appam and Stew place. I wonder if you know? Kerala is called "God's Own Country"
Hi, I am watching all of your videos because ur accent is so good. It is useful to me to learn english.
That was a great attempt. Chutney is a dip. So you take the Samosa, dip into the chutney and eat. you generally don't take a spoon and pour the chutney into the samosa. What happens then is you drown the taste of the samosa. Hope this sounds convincing
Jessica mam part time you started home made indian cuisine businesses 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
In really loved your channel
Thank you so much for watching :)
I love tamarind and chili chutney 😁
We crush samosa in a bowl and pour 3 to 4 spoon of curd , 2 spoon of tamarind chutney and 1 spoon of mint chutney then eat with spoon..
