I have this question I have been struggling with; if a system is mesophilic and the temperature increases to above 40 degrees, does the mesophils die and give room for thermophile's to appear? Or the bacteria changes its form to adjust to its new environment. Please help
If temperatures increase past what mesophiles can survive at, they will die and give room for thermophiles to appear. This is a common occurrence in composting, and you can read more about this shift from mesophilic to thermophilic and back to mesophilic based on tempature on page 2 of this PDF - cwmi.css.cornell.edu/chapter1.pdf
Hello i have a question after i just watched one of your videos that you made 4 years ago My question is about the effect of temperature on bacterial growth ! Why in the photo all the curves are crossed with ecah others like they are making a chain So what kind on bacteria does live in the crossed area ? Does the both type live in it ? Or none of them ? I hope you understanded my question and hope you answer me I am a 2nd stage Medical laboratory technique student And i really found your 4 years ago video very very helpful❤
The lines indicate the upper and and lower bounds for growth of different kinds of bacteria. At the "crossed lines" you can have different types of bacteria coexist. For example, at 15 degrees, you are at the optimal temperature for psychhotrophs, but some psychrophiles and some mesophiles would still be able to grow at that temperature, even though it is warmer than most psychrophiles would want and colder than most mesophiles would want.
Sorry but I think you should try headphones. I suggest try hearing tests because it may be due to poor hearing. If you feel deaf, try asking an adult/parent/guardian
love these videos! Def helping along in my micro class! thx!!
Thank you so much for this lesson it helped me a lot for my bio assignment

Wish you have a great day ♥️
تشکر از این ویدوی شما
Informative
❤️❤️❤️Thanks
THANKS!!!!
Thanks for the vid. Sucks that we Americans are hampered so much in the sciences due to our refusal to use the Metric system.
I agree!
Thanks! It will be great for my test review.
Campylobacter j. Likes it hot 42 degrees Celsius
exactly what I need
+Summer Sheffield Wow, You so Pretty Woman!
nice vid, thank you

This might place an upper and lower limit for life on other planets.
Nice video but your voice is low.My sound system is at maximum but I can't hear you very well
