Thanks. I'm trying to learn this now. I'm not exactly that flexible, but I'm mostly practicing it off ice. I want to try to do it on ice. But I'll wait until I go back to the rink for my lessons.
Hi Very helpful, Will you be doing the tea pot (shot the duck in some countries) It is a one footed squat gliding along the ice. It would b a tremendous help. Thank you.
essentialpages--- you might try looking up pistol squat exercises for that one. It is best achieved in progressive increments gradually building on the strength, balance, and flexibility needed. Physically being able to do it off skates is helpful. I'm presently working on getting that position back again so that I can do sit spins the way I did when I was younger.
You guys are of great help. I was on the ice while living in the US, switched to quads now in Brazil and currently trying to adapt to ice all over again fate almost 20 yrs later because they just opened a rink here. I'm 37. Any general advices on the whole going back-ice/quads bipolar issue? Haha!
When they said forward lunge I was like, "There's a backwards lunge too??"
thank you for helping me learn how to do the lunge properly, you guys are doing great keep it going!
Thank you for sharing the information!
Yep! You're welcome Zhang!!
Doesn't the free leg needs to be straight instead of knee bent?
Rina Holley Yes, it does.
No not really if you go really deep like her

Yep! We've recently recorded a bunch of videos, which will be up in the coming weeks. I have added your request to the shooting list.

That's a good point! We should do Shoot the Ducks (as there as know here in the US) soon.
does this damage your boot over time?
Hi Elliot, boots break down over time. that's pretty normal. A good pair usually lasts a two years or a bit less.
I would like to try this on roller skates, but I think it will not possible, as the floor has more friction than ice... 😳😢 Any ideas?

For what I can remember and also trying to visualize it, it would be a little easier for those who already have their shoot the ducks, or?
I can't shoot the duck but I can forward lunge, feel like shoot the duck requires legs of steel
IS THIS FOX VALLEY!!!
Worse excercise to scratch your skates 😉
