You don't need to be in a party for this one, just run there and there's bound to be people doing it. You get good mastery even if you just assist a group.
It should be worth noting about the pvp, if someone has just flagged or sits on the border of a town in and out of flag, you don't earn any or much xp for the kill. It's based on flag duration, so if someone has been out doing quests for hours and hasn't died, they are worth heaps of xp. If someone has died and re spawned at camp nearby, they're worthless.
I'll be real this is very annoying when you're skirmishing over a fort. After a little bit of time it's just going to be the same people rushing in over and over again which means you get nothing for defending the fort.
Something not mentioned when talking about PvPing is that you actually have to win the battle if it's a 1v1 and gotta be in a group that gets the kills if it's group combat for PvP to be worth it.
So many people are in a rush to level up. Out of 8 people closing portals I was the only one with the staff to close it. Not a single person completed the story quest to unlock the staff. You people need to stop and really think what the rush is and why max level is the goal.
most people are rushing because of the feel of being left behind , probably mostly because the devs lowered the pvp scaling, so a big gap in level usually sets the victory
I know! Why can’t people “enjoy” the game. I wonder how many people when asked what the story is about if many could answer. FOMO to these young players is real. 😂
As much as I do agree it is an MMO for a reason, MMO - Mass multiplayer online, will always cater towards group play as that is one of there soul purposes
there is a better way, go to brightwood south and go find the pastor walsh in the church, you need to be like 3 or 4, the boss spawn unlimited times when you camp close to his spawn point
Solo Deadman’s Cove raised my hatchet to 18 in about two hours as primary weapon. Secondary weapon was at 15. The important thing to remember, is just wait until level 60 to start leveling weapons. Good video…
I'm a solo player generally until it is time to tackle end game content. Just my take on things. I agree with you about the weapon leveling. For a couple of reasons. 1. You weapon is going to suck so you need to be in an area way lower than you are (especially in solo play) otherwise you are going to pay the price. As an example. I took my level 42ish character and decided to level rapier. I grabbed a level 40ish rapier and when to an area with level 25 mobs. I was holding my own one on one. And then I got swarmed. If I'd have had my level 15 hatchet I wouldn't have even broke a sweat. But a level 2 rapier ... at least I got to spawn back in town and turn in a couple of quests. 2. Bring a backup weapon unless you want to pay some heavy repair costs. I was in Restless Shore. Level appropriate weapon and character level. There is a small camp at the northern border over run with swine. Over run to the point where I struggled to even skin the kills before being attacked again. (Level appropriate so high threat generated.) I had a brand new hatchet I had just made. I farmed the site for about 20 minutes (give or take) and my hatchet is now down below 50%. Don't get me wrong, it was fun and entertaining. Non-stop intense fighting. And I took my hatchet almost to level 16 (from 15) in that time. So if you plan to farm, do it where you get some of your investment back. Humanoids rarely drop money. And at least animals you can get resources from to either sale to make up for the expenses or improve your crafting skills. 3. Gold level mobs are no joke. It is not that they are particular difficult to fight, they just have a high hit point bar drawing out the fight. Going to places specifically for gold level mobs (even way below your level) is probably not the best way. And yes, you got to take into consideration that your threat level is going to be higher with gold level mobs and you might not finish killing one before you gain attention of other mobs in the area. 4. If you think you might be risking things and possibly be killed, switch out your armor to something you don't care about. Preferably crafted armor so your personal expense is minimal. And if you die, at least your preferred armor didn't take the damage hit from the death.
It will be damn boring thou to skip on all the fun passivs/spells/abillities that puting mastery points in weapon tree will give life to your gameplay, but also the faster phase of dps and higher survivability the spending of mastery points will give you, so that you can reach lvl 60 allot faster, easier.
The elite room at Walsham in the bottom left corner of bright wood is great for loot and xp if you’re low level. I was there for 3 hours last night and now have 198 strong health pots, 12 T3 elite muskets, 25 T3 rare rapiers and an obscene amount of armour which has all been scrapped. I am pretty sure they changed that. I used both weapons yesterday, opening with my musket taking up to 3 shots, more than 30% enemy health, and then finishing the enemy off with my hatchet, only my hatchet showed up at the xp summery. It used to show both weapons, either it's just a UI thing where they only show one or they made it more tedious to artifically prolong progression, like with everything else.
I dont. I mostly play slow and very deliberately, searching out every nook and cranny so I dont miss anything. Even in this game I just spent all weekend running the quest in the two 1-25 level areas I missed earlier, despite being level 45 at the time. I was getting 11xp for both weapons after the kill. (or that is what the kill msg said).
if they ban people for anything like that they would get fucking roasted and just be bad for them in general. If they actually do it and arent just trying to scare people from doing it, that would be soooo silly lol
great video, when you said "Not everyone likes to pvp" I found it very ironic that it is advertised as a massive PVP based mmo yet they still choose to jump in haha
Suspect that will change. A lot of non-beta players learning the game and focused on leveling, perhaps not as efficiently. Some servers were also dealing with 15-20,000k queues, which in essence meant no play. It’s been fixed on some of the worse servers recently. We are looking at week one. No one wants to be the grief target while they are figuring it out. Patience.
it depends on how much time the person u kill have pvp activated, means that if kill another person who recently leaves city = no xp, no weapon mastery, i somewhere read that
I am playing from the Philippines right now and the delay is so noticeable for projectile weapons like the fire / life staff. Kind of a shame honestly. I play WoW and it feels much smoother

right, post your sponors but not the MOST IMPORTANT TOOL YOU NEED BOOKMARKED... lol, luckily its not hard to find on your own but still
What if i not get group and spam skill there, is counted also?
does is it work in duel as well?
I'm just a cook dammit! I'll go to the ends of the earth to find a pile of salt!
I can get 2k weapon master every 5-10 minutes solo farming packs of level 45-47 lost in restless shore. It took me about an hour to max my weapons. Just use a fire staff and whatever weapon you want to level. Probably about 20-25 pack size.
What is the location's name and your level?
Yes pls give location

Hey man nice video, how do i get HP as a healer? Should i get focus and cons on equipments, or only focus?
U should try getting both I'd personally try 2 points into focus and 1 into con every level or unless u want to just do full focus early on and before you hit level 20 (if you havnt already) do a reset and try to fix ur stats to get ur bubbles so like if you have 60 stats I'd put them into focus till u get the first bubble and put the rest into con, I don't need you need too much hp as a healer until 20+ and start doing group things/expeditions and its any equipment with focus/cons is good too, and what's your secondary? I just currently switched to hatchet and life staff recently since I've been doing nothing but solo and even with no points into str or dex hatchet still puts in work
@@Donkie tyvm m8
@@Donkie if you put an amber into that hatchet the weapon damage will scale off focus, it rips then. If you can find a socketed hatchet with chain lightning and then slot that amber. Oh boy!
Can you do a video about all the armor sets of you can
To get xp - play the game. 6:47 saved.
Is there another way beside these two to level it?
where is link to that tool?
Idk I like to multitask I got my skinning lvl up so I just pick a wep and go hunt boar's/wolf's with it and get more leather and meat in the process
If you also pick berries while doing that, you will be lvl 100 cooking in no time
@@johnbobbyjackson1141 oh yeah lol been collecting all the berry's for rations haha
Where is this cave?
There is spot in Monarch Bluffs I can level to 20 in one day. I have 20 in everything except life staff now.
Where in MB Immortal ?
Hmmm musket and rapier... Man I'd really love to play a pirate in New World but I can't get used to the yarrr-gon
the REAL problem with pvp weapon leveling, is they don't give shyt if they died recently. At least on my server, all pvp encounters have been turning into zerg v zerg trying to prevent zone turning to conflict or vice versa. So yeah, they don't give any weapon exp cuz everyone already died 30 times lol
i'm waiting on how to max on all trade skill vid. so far i made all over 50 working on 100.
This was a big help, getting me past a slow plataue.
People want to do everything fast then complain that the game has no content. Chill people and do things nice and slow
Thus why the genre is dying lol.. no one wants to stop and enjoy random shit while progressing. It's all about efficiency which causes massive burn out and then people eventually quit.
1990s called they want their outro music back XD
Thx man
Do you have to kill the mob to get weapon xp or just hit them?
Just hitting them
Actually even just being in a group that kills them will give you full exp. You don't even need to hit them. But obviously help your group as it'll be faster
whats site is view the map
how i can download this map bro ..someone can help me pls
What do I do with all the resources after I fill my bag. I can only craft the same thing over and over
Once you get to your first settlement, there’s a storage place close to one of the factions, you can store heaps of stuff in it
Even if I don't own the game, the video you make for the content of the game and the game guide is awesome Vul. Good job :D. hope some day to buy the game and jump in to play with your guides hehehe
Why dont u just buy it?
@@mauro7092 with this negative reviews and people complain about server issues? Just not buy yet. I want to wait a little bit plus my time is very limited right now to play an mmo :)
Get yourself a fishing pole, play some Lo-fi on the background and your sunday will be over in no time!
And yes there is alot of running. But enjoy the travel and pick some herbs and berrys on tje way!
@@meador1985 i would buy it anyways if u can miss it financialy CUZ u can play on those low servers my server is basicly 1800 peeps with 0 Queue healthy player base i can play whenever i want its a great game with potential but agreed it has its flaws.
Not enough pvp'ers on my server and the ones that do walk around in 5 man groups! Kinda frustrating but this is by far the best mmo for pvp, It just feels so good, 1v1 and 1v2's out in the wild just feels great! (...When you're winning) ;) Shame the rest of the game is lacking, by far some of the most boring/repetitive questing experience I've ever had!
Well the games only been put for not even 1 week....everyone's focusing on pve, and leveling and other parts of the game. Once they get stronger and better understand the game, i bet you'd see a bunch of pvp. People need to learn the game. Heck, I play it alot and I enjoy the crafting system alot and focused on that most of the time and making money.
if no one is flagged, den enjoy your 10% xp buff
Yeah not a pvper anymore myself :p, used to be, just don't enjoy it anymore.
I need the map thingy name or link plz
Can anyone confirm that this wasnt nerfed? I dont seem to get much weapon xp at all in groups when killing elites.
I can help ya if need be
sicJoKeR is my name. Mention Vulkan weapon farm and ill know
Nvm might not be in the same server lol
is amrine the best to get good gear? im tryna get some better loot.
No. Amrine is trash when you pass lvl 28 or so. Just do MSQs and sidequests. Cove and Brightwood island give better gear overall too.
@@harrys2331 okay thank you this my first mmo so I’m tryna learn
If you are Lvl 24-27 yes. Run this dungeon a few times. You will get good tier 3 gear. Make sure you pick up the repeatable dog quest outside the dungeon entrance, it gives great exp
@@seansy5247 I just hit lvl 32 any tips for that?
Always funny how thos few armor sets you can buy just are being used so often that all ppl look the same ...
Go through dungeons can easily get up to rank 10 in anything in about an hour
I am pretty sure they changed that. I used both weapons yesterday, opening with my musket taking up to 3 shots, more than 30% enemy health, and then finishing the enemy off with my hatchet, only my hatchet showed up at the xp summery. It used to show both weapons, either it's just a UI thing where they only show one or they made it more tedious to artifically prolong progression, like with everything else.
I wonder if most that rush through games even have any fond memories or can even remember playing a game a year later. *hmm*
I dont.
I mostly play slow and very deliberately, searching out every nook and cranny so I dont miss anything. Even in this game I just spent all weekend running the quest in the two 1-25 level areas I missed earlier, despite being level 45 at the time.
But games like CoV/CoH where I just powered through to max level to do stuff with friends... I cannot remember the first thing about them, and 99% of the time don't even think to mention them in my list of "MMOs I have played".
what world are you in i distinctively remember that 5 guys conversation in the global chat near the end of this video
in the map options for that website how do you lookup the elite zones?
Click the elite zones button on the filter
@@ShadowLIran there is no elite zones button on the filter for me.
I didn’t know I can upgrade weapons haha. I just bought new weapons everytime it broken.

Fastest way to level weapon... Solo kill crocodile in cutlass key, they are all silver and worth 70 exp each. With a piercing weapon you are even better, they also give a lots of EXP in hunting
Thanks for the tips vulkan!! Started watching during Remnant From the ashes days. Love your videos. There always super helpful and informative. Thank you again!!
I was testing this out and i was getting the same amount of weapon xp regardless if i used one or two.
So i was getting 11xp when just using one weapon, then i started with staff to pull (one or two shoots) and then switched to hatchet when they got close.
I was getting 11xp for both weapons after the kill. (or that is what the kill msg said).
Do the elite chests reset?
Yes.

the real question is why do I keep seeing lvl 25 players with end game looking gear
2:20 Bet you think Burger King is good

Pretty much, but it's not like leveling anything is a challenge in NW.
''Sometimes it's quantity over quality'', I think it applies to the Syndicate too ! 🤣🤣

Looks like a grinding thing for everything.
Some people love the grind though :)
Well it is a mmo
imagine not mentioning boars, as soon as you hit 40+ you can go boarsholm and level up any weapon from 0 to 15 in 3 hours
Just be careful. The devs confirmed yesterday that they consider forcing rapid respawn an exploit and will be banning people for it.
if they ban people for anything like that they would get fucking roasted and just be bad for them in general. If they actually do it and arent just trying to scare people from doing it, that would be soooo silly lol
great video, when you said "Not everyone likes to pvp" I found it very ironic that it is advertised as a massive PVP based mmo yet they still choose to jump in haha
what is so ironic about it. if they made this strictly PVP it will cut their $$ by more than half. .
Patience.
This is like the ED3 of runescape3
PvP is weird. Sometimes you get a shit ton of xp and sometimes you get nothing
it depends on how much time the person u kill have pvp activated, means that if kill another person who recently leaves city = no xp, no weapon mastery, i somewhere read that
PVP is not always an option. The ping is too high for players not in Europe or America...
I am playing from the Philippines right now and the delay is so noticeable for projectile weapons like the fire / life staff. Kind of a shame honestly. I play WoW and it feels much smoother
@@trench6118 Agreed. I miss 90% of projectiles as well. Kind of frustrating...
Also pvping if someone kills you and you immediately hit E on the keyboard and commit suicide they get no points they don’t even get the credit for the kill. It’s kind of funny.
They still get credit.
these days you can go out pvp for a few hours and MAYBE MAYBE find 1 person flagged
gathering anything or attacking a mob should automatically switch your pvp flag on
@@bharrop8992 no thanks, ive been seal clubbed more than enough times by groups of 60's with nothing better to do than run around low level areas and act like they are good for one shoting a level 12. bring back level scaling and ill gladly flag. till then ill stick to pve.
My whole faction has been spamming this 24/7
when i pvp i dont get rewarded for killing ppl, unlucky
They need to make the rules for points clear. I can tag, get them low and someone knocks them and gets the exp. Sometime I know them and get nothing.
Because you're likely killing those who just spawn and went out.
Dude does a shout out to a resource, and doesn't put it in the description.
Probably concern yourself of getting at lvl60 before going to grind for weapon levels. These come as you level anyway.
