Marc Martel is the 'voice-living' Freddie Mercury. He sang some of FM' songs in the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody", but in this song 'Love of My Life, this Filipino guy excels much power and as I veered away from the video, I imagined FM singing in a stage in one of Queen's concerts some years back.

Yeah he's really good & I like his relaxed style of singing, the range & a little raspinnes there. I think he nailed that song. What's a bummer is those people who interrupt the show esp the one who looks like he's scratching his butt 🤔 , or idk wtf he's thinking blocking the camera. But overall.. he's very good 👍
lots of bisaya speaking people in the phillipines are good singers, like morissette amon , marcelito pomoy , kz tandingan and pelita corales, they have one thing in common bisaya is their mother tongue, in some remote areas there are some people who dont even know how to speak english but when you make them sing they sounds like the original singer especially the standard songs.....
We are glad that we are educated by the Americans(esp. the Missionaries) that's why we can speak, communicate and sing in English compared to other neighboring South East Asian countries. Our Official Language is Filipino(Tagalog) & our second most used language is English being spoken through out the entire country, but we have lots of dialects or local tongue being spoken in every other areas or Regions in the Philippines. It's very easy to foreigners to communicate to Filipinos coz they can speak & understand English language. Anywhere else in the World Filipinos can easily adopt & understand or speak any other languages being spoken in a certain country where they are living, working or staying for good. Filipinos are flexible when it comes to learning & speaking other Languages.
I don't agree with that because it's like saying "we owe Americans " our literacy. English is the medium of instruction in most of our books & we are exposed to western culture & most of us embraced it, but our education & culture per se is influenced by many more other cultures of the world not JUST America. It's fortunate that most parents send their children to school for as long as they can afford it, its true also that we are flexible bec we want to better ourselves. But we have many other countries to thank for helping shape us to who we are right now. It's in our history subject. Pls don't forget that & we owe them respect too.
It seems Filipino has no originality. They dont have their own identity. You only copy from America, Korean, Chinese . Then further more because you have lots of dialects , you are not united . You fight each other, Luzon Vizaya, Mindanao , these 3 are not united.
In the Philippines....no matter whst we do...laundry...cooking...taking a bath...sometimes up on work....just walking....literally playing.....we sing...Just anywhere you name it...Seems like its normal..In our office, 90 percent can sing..
