Thank you! I'm right at the point of adding QC's to my garden hoses because I always have a problem with the screw on/off kind (I'm a senior). I hadn't heard about stainless steel fittings, but have just ordered some & looking forward to changing out my hoses.

To compare, MTM fittings area available in both brass and stainless, offer a smaller footprint, and have no exposed o-rings on the plugs.
@@PoweredbyVeloci thanks, I hadn’t considered the non-exposed o-rings. I’m going to get a male and female set of each company’s and see how I feel. I’m thinking I’ll prefer the Eley between the spigot and the hose and the MTM between the hose and tools. I don’t think it was mentioned in the video, but I’m assuming the stainless and brass MTM fittings are compatible with each other.
Yes, the brass and stainless work together. The stainless version offers more corrosion resistance and the couplers a more secure 6 ball attachment.

I believe you're referring to the version with check-valve which is linked above.

is there a fitting that will allow you to just connect the garden hose to the pressure washer hose without the pressure washer?
There is not a fitting that connects 3/4" garden hose to the pressure washing hose.
Connecting those two makes zero sense.

Hello Mike. Do you have a video of that brass part that is already attached to the garden hose and eventually connects to the coupler "QC" ? I've been looking for something like that but I couldn't find it anywhere
That is a standard garden hose threading that is provided on the hose from the manufacturer. MTM Veloci doesn't sell garden hose and unfortunately, I don't recall the manufacturer of this particular hose.

I found it in Ace Hardware..it seems if you want to replace the ferule on the hoses you may have to take it to a shop that specialists in fittings and hoses they will have the proper tools clamps and multiple ferule to choose. Else you could also buy the parts from the said shop and do it yourself

Have watched several videos on QC systems. All of them suffer from the same issues: 1) you talk way too quickly, mainly because you've been doing this for many years, but it's nearly impossible for a total newbie to follow along; 2) you explain how the male or female unit works, but don't follow up with actual real-life situations / pictures with what goes where; 3) if you do show pictures of what goes where, it seems to depend on what gadget is being connected. If only someone would explain how to keep fittings installed on our accessories (sprinkler, hose, connecting 2 hoses together, etc.) so that they connect into the faucet spigot. Or what to do when the coupler doesn't fit the hose end. Or any other scenarios where it's supposed to work, but doesn't.
