    nice video. Interesting tightening at 44NM because not mentioned in the assembly documentation

      The 44NM comes from the Vulcan S service manual. I assume craftride don’t include it in the documentation in case it changes from one model year to another.

    at 6:10 seems like little space for that bottom bolt to come out. as fuses are inside that long plate. Need 1.5" gap at least

      Lots of wiggling and jiggling needed, but possible.

    nice video, shows all you need for installing this engine bars. nice background music also, but definitively too loud

      Thanks for the feedback, I agree that the background music is a bit too loud. Lesson learnt 😎

    I recently purchased a 2021 Vulcan S, I bought same bars and they seem heavy. I wonder if you had noticed a difference in the bike's performance and handling with the added weight and wind resistance

      I don't really notice much difference with the bars on, but I put them on pretty much straight away and my bike is "fully loaded" with camera gear, panniers, top box etc, so my bike is heavier than most anyway.

    appears to be enough space on the right side vertical section of the bars to get at the long plate that covers the fuses. hope an allen key as a phillips would never make it.

    If I put this crash bar it means that I can’t put the footpegs in extended position right ?

    • @TreesAndWheels
      @TreesAndWheels  2 роки тому

      I have heard other people mention that they couldn’t use the crash bars with the foot pegs in the extended reach position. I don’t know if there is a work around. The Puig bars might be a better option but I don’t know for sure.

    Engine bars make it look mean! !

      It very nearly looked a lot meaner... it was close to looking like Ghost Rider's bike because I just wanted to set fire to it 🤬

    So we have one problem with this crashbar and no one has mentioned it so far. This crashbar has a design flaw. I have installed oem kawasaki cafe visor. When you turn the handles they touch the crashbar and are restricted in movement. At the end of this video you see the same problem, the handles touching the crashbar even though there is no visor holder. Imagine the problem with the visor installed. Is it possible that no one has noticed it yet ?? I paid dearly for this crashbar and now I have a problem ....

      I have heard other people mention that they had an issue installing on a bike with the screen, and others have had issues with the long reach pegs (I have the mid reach). Neither of these were an issue with my install.

      They seem good, but I don't want to slide down the road to test how good they are! 🤪

      @@herschelsquirts2338 it’s an install video not a review. It’s made for people who have bought the bars or who are thinking of getting them, and in those cases you would already know what they look like as there are photos on the website )and there is a link in the description).

      @@TreesAndWheels I get what you’re saying, but we just went on this mini journey with you and didn’t get to see the payoff!! 😂 It’s all good man I’ve been considering a Vulcan and just wanted to see how different crash bars look on it.
