How IKEA Tradfri (Trådfri) works

This is the second video of unboxing, installing and reviewing IKEAs smart lightning system called Trådri (Tradfri). The remote controller can be used to control up to 10 different smart light bulbs, also a part of IKEA Trådfri.

Like one upstairs one downstairs....oh and with the app and of Ikea hub, so just the Ikea lamp and two Ikea remotes

The remote can only control 1-10 different light bulbs at the same time. If you want to control two light bulbs differentley you need two remotes.

Meh, då var det ju inge kul. Jag använder mig av Nexa och där kan jag släcka/tända enskild lampa och dimma den. Däremot kan jag inte byta färg. Men lite tråkigt med tanke på att jag har lampor över hela lägenheten och skulle jag släcka en släckar jag ju i alla rum.

Jag kör både ock. Har vissa lampor kopplade till IKEAs och en del kopplade till Nexa. Till exempel när jag kommer hem trycker jag på en knapp så tänds lägenheten upp mha IKEAs. Det tycker jag personligen är väldigt smidigt samtidigt som jag saknar att kunna kontrollera lamporna från telefonen när man inte är hemma.

@@richardburton6882 controller (and bulbs, etc.) is using Zigbee protocol with ikea gateway, coap is protocol between gate and client!
