I've had one of these since July 2021.I t has been reliable in the extreme. I'll probably keep it as long as there is petrol available to run it. The essence of this bike is simplicity It's all the benefits and feeling of a classic bike, without the leaks and unreliability of a 1950s/1960s bike. It isn't fast, however, it draws a crowd everywhere I've parked it and has never failed to get me from A to B with a smile on my face!
Your review echoes my thoughts on these smaller capacity machines. I bought my Himalayan to travel the minor roads and gentle green lanes. Speed is not the be all and I enjoy pottering and taking in the scenery. None of my local Benelli dealers have demonstrator machines as this is a bike I would like to ride. How it fares against the Classic 350 only time will tell, the classic looks more authentic to me but the Benelli is cheaper. I’d love to ride these back to back.
I got one in January 21. It'll get faster as the miles go on and the engine lightens up. She'll easily do 70/80 and there's torque even in 5th at 60. The build quality is pretty good. I've had mine a year and a half and I just keep it under a bike cover and there's not one bit of rust appearing anywhere, although I do keep it well cleaned and WD 40d. It's a great bike for country rides.
That's awesome 👍 Thanks for sharing the information. It's great to get an owners view of a bike, I only "test ride" the bikes I review, so a long term report is great 👍 Thanks again, Grumps.
Consider to use a hand camera, the system that you use in this video is very shaky as it is attached to your helmet and make me, and very possibly many other viewers, sick. Thank you and thank you for your complete review
I’m glad you did this, I’m looking for something for fun at the weekends and this looks great. Would you say in your opinion that it’s a capable pillion bike. Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks for the compliment. You may find it struggles allottee 2 up, my Himalayan does, and it's got similar power. However, I'm 15stone, plus a pillion?
Thanks, shouldn't over heat, the air flowing over the engine, whilst moving, should cool it enough. Has worked on Motorbikes for many years, before water cooling was in use.
@@grumpsrides42 actually was confused that the design is from Italy but manufacturing is from china… and as per Ryan of fort9 Chinese engines are worst over a period of time and hence my query.. thanks for your reply 😊
If I ever get one, first job will be to fit a DID chain as Chinese ones are pathetic. As for "easily does 70-80mph", well sorry but the speedo over reads by 20%. So it "easily does" 56-64 mph.
gearbox problems, injection problems, brake problems!!! II have 2 words for the Benelli brand: chinese quality the motorbike falls to pieces, even the mirrors fall off while driving Pure garbage

Awesome, really appreciate the feedback. Lots of potential owners will now have a more informed view of the Imperiale 🙂👍
Great answer! I am getting one next month, it is being unboxed as we speak. This is a bike which i will never sell
"Enjoy your ride...that's it all about"....beautiful!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to riding the 350 classic too.

Great review. Everything nicely covered in a straightforward manner. Thanks so much. V helpful.
Thanks, and thanks for the feedback 👍
Thanks! I liked your presentation, I love the retro-looking motorcycle, old cars
And surely that will be my future motorcycle

@@grumpsrides42 I'm 17st plus a pillion. Not a good idea then 🤣🤣
@@krisbassett4636 regrettably not, how about the 502c?
Review on my channel too 🙂
Alternatively, Royal Enfield Interceptor?
Not reviewed it......yet, but not expensive? 🤔
Nice video and great motobike.
Thank you 🙂
Good review👍
Thank you 🙂
Will air cool motorcycle like this overheat if climbing steep hill? Nice video by the way.

Lovely review btw which place was that near the sea side ?
Thanks, that would be Penarth sea front.
Good review, a proper modern classic instead of a 'neo retro' that looks as classic as an iPhone.
Thanks bud 👍
What are your views against the two enfield 350s?
I've reviewed both the Classic and the Meteor, videos on my channel 👍
Where is the engine of the bike made brother?
I believe in Italy, but not 100% sure

Bad news that.
I haven't owned one, just test ridden/reviewed, so can't comment.
But thank you for your input 👍
Injection is not the best, on low rpm the bike jerks. On higher works normally.
