Ganzhou, also known as "Qian" for short, is also called Qiancheng or Gannan. It is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province and is the southern gate of Jiangxi Province. Ganzhou is located on the southern edge of the mid-subtropical zone. It has a humid monsoon climate in subtropical hills and mountains. The terrain is dominated by mountains, hills and basins. Ganzhou is a waterfront city with the largest number of cultural relics in Jiangxi Province, especially the Song Dynasty. It is known as the "Song City of the South of the Yangtze River". One of the settlements, the city's Hakka population accounts for more than 95%, and it is known as the "cradle of Hakka" in the world. There are still more than 600 Hakka enclosures, which are called "the ancient Rome of the East". Ganzhou has been named "National Historic and Cultural City" and "China's Excellent Tourist City".
