    Had a relative who visited this spot and had a great time. They mentioned a theatre where they had some shows on site which is nice. His only complaint was that they brought home bed bugs. Knew nothing about bed bugs or how to take precautionary steps while on travel anywhere. He and his wife had to tent their house ($2K). Can happen anywhere apparently but just a heads up. He did state he would visit again which made me consider it and search UA-cam for some feedback. Thanks for the video.

    Thank you for this video! I have never stayed at an all inclusive and was wondering how tipping works at this resort. Is it customary to tip everyone?

    We have stayed at the Hilton Los Cabos twice and the service, the view, the swimmable beach and is amazing! It’s not all inclusive but I’m having a difficult time finding one that compares for the price. Definitely recommend it! Thanks for the video and review. I do have a video on my page of our last Hilton stay.

    I liked that this was your first all inclusive. We have been to a lot of all inclusive resorts and some things to avoid, never go during holy week or spring break, you get to many first timers and service usually is not up to usual standards. Another thing we look for are resorts that have 400 or less guess, this usually means better food and service. Food wise, I find that French and Italian are usually the worst restaurants. Last of of course is star rating, nothing least then 4+, but usually 5. I hope this will not be your last, I recommend Iberostar Grands or Secrets.

      If ya wanna do activities away from resort I.e snorkeling, seeing the arch etc I’d do 4 nights

    you are 20 years to late for All Inclusive Hotel to be good. What you had looked pretty good compared to what I had at a All Inclusive Hotel in Jamaica. We stopped doing All Inclusive We don't drink anymore and we don't eat much, but the food has to be out standing so we go and pick were we are going to eat very carefully! We did St. Thomas last year and had a good time and some good food................. oh yar! breakfast looked good!..................From what I have seen of the All Inclusive Hotel (only in the Caribbean) that was pretty nice, I bet big bucks! Stay safe!

    What would the price be if you were not using Hyatt points. I have learned seafood or chips and guac are always the best in Mexico resorts

    • @MathersOnTheMap

      Expensive unfortunately! I believe $400-500 a night? But everything’s included (including alcohol) I heard Costco has good deals on Hyatt zivas

    Great video guys thank you. Talk about living the high life!
    Would you mind giving me your honest opinion on this question please?
    I'm about to start my own van build and would love to know if you had your time over again would you design your bed the same again? Would you have the dinette style drop down bed again or would you prefer to have a permanently fixed bed with a bigger garage underneath? Your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated please.
    Thanks from Dave down under.

    • @MathersOnTheMap
      @MathersOnTheMap  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Dave we would only have a fixed bed if we built another dedicated seating area. Which we would probably have to lose the closet and reduce the dresser space to add it near the swivel seats up front?
      Then you lose significant storage but you make it up in the garage area I guess. We love having a working functional eating spot and would HATE working or eating or “hanging out” on the bed all the time

      @@MathersOnTheMap Thank you for your quick response. Yes we have both passenger and driver's seat to swivel and was planning on building a small 2 seater bench behind the driver also. Those seats combined with a Laguna table and a pop up table off the end of the kitchen bench behind the passenger seat should give enough eating/work space. Thanks again for your response and I look forward to utilising your build videos as my guide.
      Stay safe and enjoy the rest of your travels. 🚐💨

    Thanks for this review guys! I'm going here with a group of friends on the 22nd of this month! We are all 50ish, so I'm not sure how the "spring break" vibe will go over. Although we are all kinda youngsters at heart, so we'll see. Have any tips on how to get a room upgrade for cheap??? ;) thnx!

    Good info on your all-inclusive stay. I’m going to the Sandos Finisterra at Los Cabos from June 9th thru the 14th. Wedding that was delayed from last year due to COVID. Can you say PAR-TAY?!?! Hoping our stay is at least as good as yours!
    Hope your visit home was all you hoped it would be! Nice to break things up a bit. But I’m a Taylor-like kind of girl. Can never get enough beach time! So Taylor, you were probably chomping at the bit to get back south of the border!
    Keep the vlogs coming guys! Lovin’ your fun and educational 😉 experiences!

    HOO-Wee!!!
    Loved the aerial shots, sorry the food was hit n miss -- I found that on Cruise Ships -- it can vary greatly depending who's on duty when you go and how busy it is or isn't - that's my only experience with all-inclusive.
    Don't know what was with Taylor -- so adorable hamming it up -- I guess I'd be pretty stoked at a place like that too!
    Suggestions for your thumbnails ( I think they're fine personally), but a freeze-frame of Kevin surfing would be good, or just highlight Taylor -- she's so hot she makes my 28C (at night right now) apartment feel a bit cooler by comparison ( seriously, Thanks Taylor, I'm roasting in here no lie!)
    Have a good flight and look forward to the next video!!
    Oh and Thanks for lugging all that camera gear around so we can share in the experience!

    I am enjoying your video again. Thank You. The Editing is always well done and so important. Some have too much music that is too loud. Your editing is great. There was a frost last night, some of the rain that fell last night formed ice on my spare truck by 6:00 this morning but the official growing season has begun. Later in the week the prediction is to hit 80. It was 41 when i got up at 6AM before the sun popped up from behind the hill an tall pines.
    Safe trip!

    Hey Taylor! Let me give you a hand with your Spanish which is definitely improving by the way 😉. Kevin’s too 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.
    A spanish flash card for you 🙂:
    you usually say “es muy bien” (it’s very good). Well, that’s almost correct 😉. In Spanish “to be” sometimes can be translated as “ser”, some others as “estar”.
    Example:
    I’m happy: estoy feliz
    I’m tall: soy alto
    Rule:
    To be -> estar. When?
    ** you describe a sensation (ill, happy, tired, very good, cool, ..)
    ** it refers to a place/position (there, here, at home, in the States, ..).
    So we would say:
    ** estoy enfermo, feliz, cansado, muy bien, genial, ..
    ** estoy allí, aquí, en casa, en los Estados Unidos, ..
    To be -> ser? To make it easy, when none of the above, that is no sensations, no locations.
    ** I’m a van lifer (soy un van lifer)
    ** I’m tall (soy alto)
    So, here another example
    I’m a US citizen (SOY ciudadano de los Estados Unidos)
    I’m in the States (ESTOY en los estados unidos)
    Exception to the rule 😉: some little times verb To be is translated as Hacer. Just when we’re referring to the weather condition.
    It’s hot: not verb SER, not verb ESTAR, you need to use verb HACER. So ..
    ** it’s hot -> hace calor
    ** it’s cold -> hace frío.
    Verb HACER stands for To Make/do.
    Hope it helps 😊, anyway, está muy bien, it’s very good 👍🏻 😉

      uhhhhhh.....what?! It's an all-inclusive resort that focuses on having different cultural foods. Every all-inclusive likely has Mexican, French and Italian. We don't need these negative comments anyway so all good mi amigo!
