I realize many specimen are from non-human sources, but things like claws, hoof, and comparative histology would be a lifesaver. Us animal people would LOVE it, and be forever grateful! Hello, I have found on Wikipedia that: "The term apocrine sweat gland is a misnomer. While it was once thought that apocrine sweat glands were true apocrine glands, it is now known that they use merocrine excretion. However, they have retained the original name." Is it true? and if it is then apocrine and eccrine sweat glands mechanism of secretion is the same or I misunderstood something?

hello. could you explain to me why is it that the ducts of the glands are darker that the area that secretes? I don't like memorizing things withouth understanding them. And thank you for the lovely video :)

cells of duct epithelial actively transport Na and Cl, so they have a lot oof mithocondria which give them a more eosinophilic coloration
