Thank you Tyler! 🙏🏽 it was a lot of fun! Specially seeing the pros! And first time racing redbud but definitely want to go to more good tracks that get rough! You learn so much
I'm going to be racing here this year, and I've never raced at RedBud for any of the District 14 Rounds. I've only been there to watch the pro nationals lol. How do I sign up to race certain classes for the night track, and pro track? I got my AMA card, and I signed up with District 14 Obviously. I'm just confused...Do I just show up, and fill out things at the front gate? and How much is it to race certain classes??? I already bought tickets, and got a camp spot through their website etc...
Nice!! Man redbud is so much fun to race, I’m pumped for you to try it out for the first time! So you can preregister for everything online. I just checked their website and there’s not an option to register online until June 1st. You can also signup at the place but signing up online is like $10 cheaper and a little faster. Transponders are picked up there if you don’t have one. So it’s $50 per class, which includes your transponder rental.
@ibarra9265 sweet!!! I'm excited!!! Now one more quick question. Is it $50 a class per day, or is it for the full weekend, and also does the class count towards racing the night track too or is that separate? Cause I want to race 250c and open c on the big track, and 250c on the night track. But I want to race all day Friday, Saturday night, and all day Sunday.
It’s $50 per class per track. So if you want to race the night track it will be another $50 per class. It’s an expensive event but racing redbud during 4th of July is pretty special and worth the money in opinion.
@ibarra9265 ok sounds good 👍 thank you for helping me out I appreciate it 🤟. Also I was watching some more of your videos and you're from the Chicago Land area too right? Cause I saw some of your previous videos and you where riding at Joliet!!! Such a small world I swear!!! 😂 I go there all the time!!! I'll be out there this year too. I'm trying to race some area qualifiers this year
I love the 450’s because of the always there power, I like to ride the bike more in the midrange and 250’s most of the power is on the top. Also 450’s last so much longer than a 250. Considering you keep up with its oil changes of course. And the factory edition it’s just beautiful! Comes with all the extra anodized parts, split triple clamps, redbull graphics, and small details. But other than looks there’s no real difference from a stock 450. Ktm’s are the best bike in my opinion. Super simple to work on, and high quality parts.
Was this the amateur race they hold on Friday or Sunday? Looking to make a trip from Atlanta and I'm unsure what race to do. For sure have to do the leap (450cc) cheers🍻
This one was Friday! Last year I raced both Friday and Sunday. Sunday is nice because you get to race the full track same layout like the pro national of Saturday! It’s such a fun event, definitely my favorite one to go to! Hope you can make it! 🍻
Oh thank you so much, I appreciate it! 🙏🏽 I love the new gen Ktm, it’s so much more refined, corners better, the engine is so much snappier, ergonomics are better, for me ktm’s are the best bikes out there! Not to say other manufacturers are not good, I just believe Ktm is ahead of the competition as far production bikes goes
Haha yeah I feel ya, nowadays all bikes are freaking awesome stock, it’s just everything about ktm’s drive me crazy lol ktm’s look so sexy and aggressive
@@IbarraRacing92 Yeah i wasnt sure about the redesign at first but its growing on me. I heard theyre a lot easier to toss around since theyre lighter too
I was on the same boat lol when I saw the spy/leaked pictures of the redesigned I wasn’t fully into it, but when the official launch happened and the went over all the details and nuances of the new gen it just grew on me by the minute 🤣 and sold my old Ktm 450 right after.. Well the bike is a little heavier on a scale that last gen, but feels lighter when riding it since it’s more balanced and the flex has been improved plus the more power it has makes it feel more nimble and responsive.
Great job, on your first amateur national, man! 👍🏽
Thank you so much! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Awesome video! Looked like fun

No problem, anytime! Yes I love going
to Joliet! I’ll probably see you around this season!
You must live somewhere near me in Illinois? Ever ride at sunset?
Yeah I love sunset! It’s such a nice track, I was just there this past weekend!
Hey. I’m thinking about a ktm. Why did you choose the 450 and why did you chose the factory edition??
