That’s a great idea because they do make a 30ft cable. I’ve decided to use it on the side and I’ll explain in a future video why that is.
Your rv didn't come with a backup camera?.I thought every newer vehicle did.
Yes, my RV does come with a back up camera. Remember from a previous video it went out and I fixed it by changing the fuse. I really wanted the dashcam the most, but the back camera allows you to record in case you get hit from behind. That happened to me before when I was hit by a drunk driver full speed while I was parked at a red light.

@@mrabrasive51 lucky I was in the RV and didn’t feel a thing. I truly believe I was put there to prevent someone else from taking that hit. It’s a crazy story and thank God he didn’t open the door because when the cops did finally arrive, he had a gun on the passenger side seat. He was drunk and very combative, and they had to hog tie him and throw him in the back of their patrol car. He went straight to jail and did not collect $200.
@@AnasAdventures111 i had a guy pull a gun on me on the freeway back in the 80's.he got 5 months in county jail..your guy should get 10 years..but he won't
@@mrabrasive51 I remember back in the late 80s early 90s when there were so many shootings on the freeways. My guy did some time because it took about six months before we could get a hold of him to have his insurance handle everything. I’m just glad he was legal and had insurance because he wasn’t speaking English.

Maybe you could install back camera on the side of your RV by your door.
Yes, that’s what I finally came to the realization to do because that area has been a Blindspot sometimes when I’m driving and I hit certain stop signs.
Instead of using the rear cam as a rear cam. What you should do is set the rear cam up to record inside the cab of your van. That way if anything bad ever were to happen there is a recorded video.
That’s a great idea as well. The front dash cam does record inside the cab area. I’m thinking it’s best to install it over the main house door.

You have to buy the memory card separately. Cables are included for a normal length vehicle.

Not sure if someone asked this question, but can you make a video on the wifi connection from N5 to Vantrue App on mobile phone?
I only have one phone right now so I’m not sure how I’d record and show that. I do remember downloading the app and it was super easy to connect. I’m not tech savvy at all so if I can do it, trust me ANYONE can do it.
