Hey if it has a Jack-O-Lantern on the packaging, it most definetely counts as Halloween merchandise,,, At a store callee Bargain Hunt on Thursday I found Candycorn & Bat catnip toys, they sell discounted over stock, but it was Halloween merchandise on the shelf in May 👍🎃
@@TheBlackHeartsClub for me usually, it was when the craft store Michael's put out their Lemax Spooky Town village pieces. At the time, Michael's was the only place in town where you could buy liquid rubber latex year round and I remember walking in to go straight to it, when I heard cheezy moans, cackling and a howling wolf sound FX, so I followed the sounds to see these different types of ceramic "spooky" houses with a variety of things going on. Some with thunder & lightning sound FX & flashing lights, some just with mini spot blacklights, some animated with anything from a "Frankenstein's monster-like" figure sliding out of a door to "ghosts" on a rigid wire spinner circling above a haunted house and as cheezy & overpriced as they seemed, they screamed "Halloween". It was weird in the beginning, because it seemed like only little old ladies & myself loved these things & I was the only person under 65 jockeying to get what they liked. I also remember thinking $29.99-69.99 was way to expensive, but now some that don't even have animation can be $129.99 & up 😠
