This is my favorite song on the album. Favorite bass track right now actually, just, in general. It's great for a lot of reasons. Truth and Ganja are both absolute gods on the scene and have been doing this for a very long time. It actually kinda blows my mind this is the first time they've collab'd. But anyway, they both have lots of experience sound crafting. This song keeps the beat going, it almost never stops. There's one break and drop halfway through. So it's consistent and it's meaty as a dance track. But it's kind of repetitive. First time I heard it, I liked it. But it was on the third or fourth listen I really started to love it. Ganja and Truth, especially oldschool Ganja, were both super minimalist. This track is a masterclass in minimalism. Each chunk, the first and second, follow the same bass rhythm progression, with a few exceptions. But the swing pretty much stays exactly the same. Despite that, every 16 (often 8) beats of this entire song is unique. It keeps you guessing just enough while simultaneously hammering you with the overall very consistent vibe. Almost house-like in its consistency, but still a bit more interesting. The best part of all in my opinion starts at about 3:04. A bunch of the tracks are stripped away suddenly and all that's left is the drums, an absolutely sinister cackling sound, and single oppressive wall of a bass note. It's somehow so incredibly visual for me, and I hope I can hear it at an actual show some time and see how it *feels*.
for me it's 1:24 to 1:53 but also the first drop is just building for the second drop. You can see it in the animation with a more powered up and controlled Mr. Wobble
Been waiting to listen to these. This is one of the best songs I've heard lately. I love that it feels more old school but has the GWN and Truth touch to it making it more complex. That's some cool ass sound design with great flow, actually amazing! It reminds me of so many artists styles. Amazing production as always, what a beautiful song.
Ganja is one of the last great Dub artists of the last decade. The rest have died off, accused of sexual assault (Nectar, Sik, looking at you) or changed so far from their original sound they can't be called Dub anymore. But this whole album for the most part is absolute 🔥. Mixing the best of their new aggressiveness but keeping that original trippy sound that everyone liked when they found them and made them stand out from the rest. I don't really.listen to any of the Dubstep I used to back in 2008-2016 but Ganja is one of them that just doesn't go stale. Has the kids say "Beez Kneez"
Certified slapper 🕺🏼Ahhh so fucking stoked to listen all the way through this album, thank you for blessing us with ammunition to fight the midsy parts of life 🙏🙏
Idk about you guys but that “what can two man do against the gang with the spaceship” line gets me every time. Certified banger 🔥🌬️
Mavel and StarTrek could've used this gloriously.
Just me or could we all use a GWN x Truth ep/lp. Big ups this whole joints fire.
This album is wild. Has the best collaborations I've seen in a long time.

Great timing with this album.
