I have tried it on my AKG K702 and it's really a huge difference. I listened to some Pink Floyd songs (because I really know them well) and with sound id reference turned on the sound is more like it should be then without.
I made a trailer via my headphones and tested it on both my headphones and speakers. It sounded fantastic via both but when I played the trailer on my THX Hi Res Home Theatre and Dolby TV, it sounded so awful with muddy and unprofessional audio. I hope the latest Sound Reference will help me resolve this.
Interesting, I wasn't aware of this type of software. It could be quite helpful as I use headphones all the time for recording as well as mixing. Another problem I've had is with is the comfort factor in headphones themselves. I'll check out the Beyerdynamic DT-990-Pro 250 Ohm that you are using. Thanks John
yeah I can confirm I got great mixes with this. 😊
