- A morning that was full of surprises off Sunshine Beach - Daniele and I stumble on a patch of Yellowfin tuna very close to shore and then the fun begins when we both have a nightmare with our gaff shots!

Thanks mate - yep was pretty tense there for a bit, made a meal of it..funny how quickly a process that we do so easily and without drama goes out the window when you see a fish of a lifetime!
Another gaff gone. Hahaaaa! I wonder if roping the gaff to the bow of the yak would work or putting a float on it. Great fish though. Feel pretty bad for Daniele.

Thanks mate - yes it was a bad morning for my buddy... I use Platypus bionic braid - 30lb and 20lb (bionic is equal to 40 & 30lb in normal strand braid)
