Today we are sharing a Gentle Rain. This game makes my heart happy and has been a favorite for years. We’re so happy to share the news that it is available from Incredible Dream in not one, but two, new versions.

TAKE A DEEP BREATH, AND RELAX...
You have come to the lake hoping to see a rare and beautiful sight. The lilies of the lake only open their blossoms in the rain, and only rarely do all eight kinds of lily bloom at once. The goal of A Gentle Rain is to place the lake tiles in such a way to cause all eight types of lilies to bloom before you run out of tiles and the rain ends.
Place each new tile you draw next to a tile already in play, making sure to match the colors of all the tile edges touching the tile you are placing. Each time you manage to complete a square of four touching tiles, a blossom opens between them.
Keep Score, or don’t.
A Gentle Rain is a cozy tile placement game for 1 or more players that offers a relaxing 15-minute challenge. Perfect for a mental reset during a busy day or as a compliment to your transition ritual between quieter and busier moments of your day.

I am one of those who was "gifted" and then "gifted" to a few friends (and family). Thanks Michelle and Billie for "gifting" this game to me and getting me hooked on it! Anxious to now "gift" some more! My favorite solo game too, Billie! I have the original version in the box, and I love the small, compact package, but now I NEED to get the 3-D flower version too! No need to decide which to get -- Get Both!

Just like you mentioned, I have wanted to gift this game to so many people over the last few years and when it went out of print from the original publisher I was so sad that I could never gift it to anybody 😢

This game looks so calming and beautiful. I've seen the small box version at my local board game store, but didn't pick up a copy. Now I am kind of glad I passed on it at the time because the bloom edition looks SO good! I'll definitely be picking up this one.

I’m definitely getting the deluxe one. The 3D flowers are gorgeous.
Stoked for this game to come back in print. Have you tried the two player game, Lacuna? It has a similar theme and art style except you are collecting flowers

I remember the first time you mentioned this game on your channel. I was so sad that I couldn’t get my hands on a copy. Now I have one and I love love love it. I’ve been wondering if there could be an alternative scoring version where you get points for surrounding one of the animal tiles with flowers. Just something I think about while playing.😎🤓🥰 I agree with every word you said about this game. It’s a treat. 🦆🩷
