For an industral MSLA machine? Yes, especially compared to injection molding or similar configurations from companies like Nexus3D. Also factor in cost per part That's what companies care about. It is not aimed for the hobbyist market

Its DLP/SLA , Not a chinese LCD with 3000 hrs life. It works for 50,000 hrs

@@rushabhsoni407 LCD replacements are quite cheap, you could replace them enough to where you can get 50k hours and still be saving a ton. Not only that but you could buy multiple machines at this price dramatically increasing your output. So what are the advantages to buying this?

@@anab0lic I'm a jeweller, using DLP(projector based) and LCD 3d printer both. There are Castable resins which is costly like $300 per kg and also $450 per kg. Which gives extra fine details. Which LCD can never give. Exposure time of phrozen 12k is 10 seconds per layer. Where EnvisionTec DLP take 1.1 second. And half platform size. With 4k projector.
12k LCD XY pixel size datasheet shows 19 micron resolution
Where I have checked with Microscope .
I have run the Gap, Tolerance, overhang, thin line, triangle point test
LCD is fills up all the gaps when you run it with more than 5 seconds exposure time.
Where 4K DLP leaves the gap of 50 micron XY.
You may confuse, LCD is having 20 micron XY pixel.
      Yes it does. 👍
It prints TOO. But it doesn't leave the GAP of 50 micron. Castable Resin spreads in XY in 10 seconds of exposure.
So LCDs are BEST and Cost effective when you want to print Hard materials at 0.05 mm layer height. (Takes 2.5 hrs to print rings 350 layers/hr )
      DLPs are fastest,
      platform size is half BUT
Projector life is 10x than LCD
does not need FEP or Vat tray issue.
Takes 18 min to print same ring model. (3600 layer/hr to print same ring at 16 micron(0.016 mm) layer thickness. Where you don't see any visible Z Layer lines. No post processing (sanding, polishing) needed when you works in Bulk.
Yes my DLP printer is 4 years old. Where all I had to buy was RESIN. no other Payments for parts or accessories.
Automatic Platform release so you can run it 24×7
I print 10 kg of resin prints in week and it has to run barely 1 and a half day. In whole week.
All I have to do it make a platform cycle and Machine Prints, Peels off the plateform, prints next platform and process goes on.
Search for UNIWAY A5 for reference.
Such machine PRINTS hell lot of money and serves you time & money of 5 Employee(machine operator)

We had the FORM2 here at work. When it worked it was great... BUT... It would break down and we'd have to get a replacement. We now have our 5th replacement up on a shelf waiting to be a door-stop. I was wondering when they'd come to their senses and get into the DLP format. The new machine looks meaty and capable. I just hope it's not a stinker and breaks down like the others.
