Some additional features: 1.When you press the "Swap Gain" button the static EQ nodes turns into a dynamic EQ nodes. 2. With the attack and release parameters you can finetune how the dynamic EQ reacts to the resonances (auto release is sometimes to fast). 3.When you "Shift"-click on any combination of EQ nodes you can move them together 4.When you drag the nodes holding the "Shift" key they are locked in place and only move up and down. 5.When you drag the nodes holding the "Shift+Alt" key they are locked in place and only move left and right.
Thanks Chandler, another helpful video. I thought an acoustic track of mine was OK, then after your video...what a ton of unwanted resonance! Tweaked a few bands and you know it sounds way better. What an impressive bit of coding this plugin is. Keep them coming please Chandler. And cheers A G for those helpful tips.
No problem. I'm glad it helped. I sometimes don't notice the resonances, but after doing this you realize how much better it sounds. Thanks for watching.
I USED THIS TO TUTORIAL TO RECORD SOME DVD MUSIC OF SOME OF MY OLD RECORDS . TWEAKED COUPLE BANDS THE RESONANCES ECT ADDS PUNCH TO THE SOUND . GOOD PLUG IN AND SOME GOOD TIPS FROM CHANDLER.
Hey Chandler, do you have a video about Mid Side processing on the MAutodynamic EQ? I Can't figure it out. I've selected it but the bands effect all the audio rather than the sides or mid individually. Any link to a video?
I don't have one specfically for MADEQ. I think I might have explained it in an older EQ video, but I don't remember which one. I can make a video on it this Friday though. If you can wait a few days, I'll show how to do it.
If you grab another eq afterward and boost around the frequencies that are notched out, would you be able to get the punch back and not have those resonances?
Thanks for the great video! I've had this one for years, but hardly used it because it seemed too confusing. This is really helpful. Do you know if it's possible to solo a particular band? I've been looking for the option, but haven't figured it out yet.
Thanks. I'm glad to hear it helped. If you want to solo a band and just listen to what its doing, click on "auto listen". The button is right above the analyzer and EQ bands. Afterwards when you touch a band it will solo it. I hope that helps.
@@mimikoss If you just want to hear the side look at the top right and press the button that is labeled "L&R". Change it to side and you should hear just the side channel.
@@Chandlerguitar is this a yes? I have a self made small vocal booth with high quality panels and bass traps but sound engineer find room resonance. My ears are not so trained to find this frequencies and this plug in seems to be gold
@@sirbaerias3456 Yes it can work on room resonances. Of course it can't work miracles, but it can reduce the larger ones and make your voice overs sound better. I hope that helps.

Remove Resonances . . . Automatically. There are no words. :) My finger is getting tired clicking like on your vids. lol
Thank you. It is a great feature that can save you a lot of time.
Thanks Chandler, another helpful video.

I've noticed on snares if you increase saturation it fills the body in. Give it a try. BTW, fantastic. Keep it up.
Yeah, that is a good trick to get those snares thicker. Thanks
Great tut. Thank you!
Thank you for watching.
GOOD TUTORIAL VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND
Thank you.
Thank you!!!!
You're welcome!
Great plugin! That would be great to see the use on other elements as well.
Perhaps I'll do that in a future video. Thanks for watching

@@Chandlerguitar Really? that would be awesome Chandler, thank you kindly.
Cool tutorial.😎
Thanks
Very good video
Thank you
What’s the max Q that can be used for the resonance removal? Is 10 the highest possible?
The resonance will go up to a 20 q value.
If you grab another eq afterward and boost around the frequencies that are notched out, would you be able to get the punch back and not have those resonances?
Yes you definitely can do that. I do this sometimes.
@@Chandlerguitar Thought so lol so go ahead and obliterate those nasty frequencies :'D
Please inform Melda that the latest version 16.8 or whatever in nonfunctioning. I installed 16.4 and had no problems.

COOL !!!

Fuck me this looks like my GO TO subtractive correcton tool. Nice.
💪🏽
In the *Automatic Equalizer* part it does not appear. Can someone explain to me why it does not appear to me?
That's strange. It should be at the bottom of the plug in. Do you have the newest version?
why side meter won't work?
The side meter is for the side-chain, not the mid-side. I don't have anything coming into the side chain here. I hope that helps.
@@Chandlerguitar you help me a lot ty. Is there any way to see the side only?
@@mimikoss If you just want to hear the side look at the top right and press the button that is labeled "L&R". Change it to side and you should hear just the side channel.
Try it on a voiceover?
If you're doing a voice over for commericals, movies, videos, etc and your room/mic/etc has resonances.
