You can only use that controller wired to your pc not through bluetooth. You Use a usb to USB/C cable. Hold the L button and Home button down for a few seconds to put it on USB Wired mode. Then connect the USB/C end to the controller and the USB to your computer. Windows should recognize it as a pro controller and everything should work. In Bluetooth mode the controller will be recognized but none of the buttons or control sticks will work. Hope this helps :)
@@saltyamerican1677 Yeah unfortunately that controller wont wake up the switch. You have to press the power button on the switch to wake it up and then the remotes will connect
If anyone has this “N-SL” controller that doesn’t pair regardless of what you try, I found a solution. From the “pair grip order” screen (docked or undocked): Hold B, then also hold home a few seconds until it flashes quickly, then release. It should say “controller paired” and then you press A to accept and finish pairing!
For anyone else coming across this, I had to mash A as soon as I saw the paired notification on my switch. If I didn't mash A the paired notification would appear but the controller wouldn't react.
I got the controller to connect and it works perfectly fine but as soon as I either turn off the controller or it turns off automatically after 5min or the switch is put to sleep. Once you wake up the switch or turn the controller back on the controller will not pair back. The 2nd LED just keeps blinking slowly. I have to take out the switch from the dock and do the whole procedure of pairing the controller again, Then it works fine until I have to turn off the switch or the controller. Have you ever ran into this problem. It's really annoying having to do this all the time.
No it has to be in wired mode using the USB/C to USB cable. Window will recognize the controller in Bluetooth mode but the buttons and control sticks will not work.
Hold B and the Home button to go into switch paring mode.
was hoping you would show the buttons for pc mode. I can't figure it out and lost my manual.
Same for the switch
